My Chromebook
I've been wanting a laptop for so long but they are so expensive. When I saw this chromebook I couldn't believe the cost was so affordable! Plus it was $50 off! Now everyone in the family wants one! It's so easy to use also.

This does not function like Windows.
The chrome book is rapid. Unfortunately it does not function like windows. I needed 1 teT of memory and it simply does not have that... Going from tab to tab is great and fast but still not the same..

i used hp virtual and passed to 6 people
over 2 hours on phone with HP only results in a return for repair

So far so Good
just purchased and was a bit skeptical about getting a Chromebook, but so far works good for what we need. Has a great definition screen and love the backlit keyboard, truly has some better features than a traditional laptop. Only issue is lack of USB ports and ability to connect to a printer, so we are going to need to upgrade to a WiFi printer.

Easy to set up and even easier to use!
I bought this for my 78 year old mother to replace an antiquated lap top she was using. Boy, was she happy to be able to move about the internet quickly and she had no problem learning chromebook features. I'm going to purchase another one for myself.

Chrom operating system is so so.
HP build a great machine. But the chrom OS is simply not that good. I would buy a windows 10 in the future.

Does what I want it to do

Great Computer for a great price
I was looking for a good computer for a great price. I found this one and it has everything i needed. I read some reviews online and most were good. The screen works fine and i really dont use the touch screen alot. The keyboard is a full size keyboard with numbers on the side, which takes some getting used to but its great when i need to work on some severe number project. The keyboard also lights up which is a bonus. I dont plan to store alot on my computer which should keep it running pretty fast.

For some strange reason I became obsessed with Chromebook and wanted to try it. The backlit keyboard and numeric pad were also features I enjoy and wanted. It being touch screen was just a bonus! Its sleek, lightweight but feels sturdy. Perfect for school and business!

3 of 6 Freeze when entering Google Meets
We bought 6 of these units, when you attempt to enter Google Meets 3 of them will just lock up on a black screen. Consistent 95% of the time. We've tried multiple solutions from forums from powerwashing, to resetting flags. No dice. HP Chromebook support line is a dead number.

Get the protection plan
I had to replace my original HP 15 because it fell off the foot stool, which is a little over 12" tall, on to a carpeted floor. The screen is very fragile. So $500 later I have a new hp 15. I like everything else about this Chrome Book, the back lit keys and the number pad are a very nice addition. Screen is very nice also.

My first Chromebook
I love my new Chromebook. It does everything I need. The battery lasts a very long time. I am still learning about all of the features. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

No bootup time and intuitive
Had a Windows 10 laptop that was nearly useless. Slow and not intuitive. This Chromebook is awesome! Had it set up and apps loaded in minutes with no issues figuring out how to do anything!

Touch screen failed in 3 weeks
My saga so far.
HP Chromebook - 15-de0010nr ordered 201206. Order delivered 201224.
2-3 weeks in and my wife mentions the touchscreen isn't working. I admittedly didn't get right on it but later did HP troubleshooting trying to clean the screen, reboot to factory reset. Nothing worked.

Nearly perfect- wish screen was a bit brighter !
Excellent machine - touch screen worked right out of the box . Only heard the fans kick in once while setting up for the first time - they weren’t too loud. Otherwise excellent build quality and feel for the money . Very responsive for everyday activities - I haven’t pushed its performance requirements too hard but easily handled 99% of my needs - battery life is pushing 8-9 hrs with casual surfing and doc editing activities . Wish I could have got the 8mg version - just missed an awesome sale on the HP site.
