Shopper : Please explain what kind of finish does the paper display after printing? Is it similar to glossy, matte, photo rag or something else? Thank youDavid S : I've been using it for black & whites lately. It reminds me of glossy B&W photographic paper that has been dried facing the clothe on a drum dryer. Kind of a semi-gloss look.JAMES S : Hahnemuhle's pearl finish is a semi-gloss (between high gloss and matte) but with a slightly irridescent look.SALVATORE L : Before printing, the paper is a fairly dull semi-gloss. After printing with Epson inks, the paper has a more rich semi-gloss look, not semi-mattte.CORY F : It's coating is lusterous but very subtle. It has a very very mild texture. It's a beautiful paper and prints look gorgeous. It's isn't over the top glossy and it doesn't look like those plastic heavy resin coated luster papers. Superb paper for superb prints

Printing with my P600 Epson, the results are exactly as envisioned and produced superb prints. Paper was very flat, with little or no curl; ink uptake predictable from image to image and not excessive. Beautiful finish and surface in an archival paper is unrivaled. Can't ask for more.
