I purchase this particular paper because of its look, its long life, and especially of its performance in black and white printing. It litterally has a metallic finish once printed upon. Color works well also, but it is awesome when using b&w ink. You wont be sorry for the purchase. sincerely, michael mooreROGER D. F : Looks great, crisp clean and a very good look for hard edge photos, not soft things like pets or people, more for buildings and things such as that. Automobiles look great too.SARI F : I use Canon cameras and a Canon printer. I also shoot in color. For photos where you want the color to pop off the page, this paper is the best. I compared it against another metallic paper and far preferred Ink Press. Because it is metallic, you may need to experiment with white balance, contrast, saturation or other adjustments you make to get the results that you want. I recommend getting the 50 sheet 4x6 version to do these tests. Also test in different lighting conditions. You won't be disappointed with this paper. I get only compliments when I use it.JAMES V : Metallic is fabulous, never use anything else.
Gabriel S : Can I use this paper in my Epson Stylus Pro 4880 and can you tell me witch ICC profile i have to use?MICHAEL M : Dear gabriel... I have two cannon printers. One a pro9000 mark ll, and a pro9500 mark ll. Not sure about the epson but id bet that it will. A friend has the epson and I gave him a couple of sheets of the same paper. Haven't heard back concerning the paper and he would have let me know if it didnt work. I love the paper, especially for black and white pics. I used the top glossy ICC profile...it worked great. Great paper. Great results. I use it mostly to print birds I photograph. Birds with metallic looking feathers such as Ruby Throated Humming birds, Glossy Ibis etc look great on this paper.

Metallic Allows All Photos To Show Their Best Side

I've been using the metalic paper for special projects. Have decided to only use the Metalic paper as the look and feel is wonderful especially for those I've given it to.

Reflects light beautifully

Great depth in this paper! Perfect for my images of breaking waves, reflects the light wonderfully. I used it with my Epson Artisan 1430 and am very pleased with this product.

Beautiful paper

The package is a little cheesy (I threw out the box and put it in a different paper's box) and the wrapper that the paper is in really should be better as it can't be re-closed. However the product - the paper itself - is beautiful. 10 mil is a good weight to work with and the finish gives a really nice depth to the prints. I've been working in black and white and, on this paper, it looks like a film print.

I have been a user of Inkpress luster paper for awhile. I love that paper. I thought I would give the metallic paper a try. I print with Canon printers and the prints are gorgeous, particularly with B&W prints. As others have said - metallic paper is not for every image - but when it works it really sings.

only have used one page so far

the full page print I did on the metallic paper looks great!!! my only request would be for this paper and the 12 x 12 glossy paper be 2 sided. I use them for scrap booking and using 2 pages per sleeve adds that much more bulk.

Beautiful prints

I purchased this paper to experiment with. With the right subject matter, it is gorgeous. I have not printed with metallic paper before, so I can not make a comparison with other metallic papers. I print on Canon printers and used the setting for Canon's Glossy Plus as suggested. Beautiful colors, great snap.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first metallic paper that I have tried, so I can't compare it to another brand, but I can't imagine better results. I have printed about 40 pictures so far with my Canon Pixma Pro 100 and I would say that I love about 35 of them. 8x10s are next for me. Good Luck!

Inkpress Metallic Paper

Inkpress Metallic Paper (255 gsm, 10 mil, Metallic Glossy Surface, 8.5x11", 5 Sheets by Inkpress) was awesome. Looks really good and shiny wet. I had a number of composited shots that a metallic look to them to begin with. While using the Inkpress Metallic Paper it really added an extra dynamic to the overal quality and visual dynamic of my prints. I choose this paper for the fact that it is quick drying and does not need a seperate 'fixing' spray. The paper seems robust. Does not easily scratch or smudge...just make sure you are utilizing a color management workflow (both computer monitor and printer) and you will not be dissapointed.

Inkpress Mettallic Paper Pro Quality

I use Inkpress Mettalic paper for many of my commercial prints. The results impress clients and it closely resembles Kodak Endura Mettalic prints with a slight three dimensional look. This paper occasionally needs a boast in brightness and color saturation to achieve the desired effect and care must be taken to make sure the print surface is free of any dust as it will show in the final print. Overall, it's a good product for the money and gives your images the commercial "snap" that pleases clients. Since I use it for architecture/interiors etc., I'm not sure how portraits would fair so I would classify this paper as a special use product.
