Ikelite DS51 Substrobe with Flex Arm and Sync Cord Package for Underwater Photography

Ikelite DS51 Substrobe with Flex Arm Sync Cord bundles with three components and 2 connectors that can be combined to create one continuous, 13-joint flex arm. It also includes a sync cord for connection to a compatible Ikelite underwater camera housing. The flex arm allows for versatile maneuvering and bending for various lighting positions and angles and provides connectors for both the strobe and an optional Ikelite release handle, which connects to a tray. The sync cord features connectors on each end for the ICS-5 bulkheads on the strobe and the housing. It is coiled in the middle to allow it to expand and contract depending on the length you need and it can even be wrapped around the arm to keep it out of the way.

The DS51 Substrobe has a depth rating of 300'. It features a guide number of 56' at ISO 100; an angle of coverage of 70deg., which can be increased to 80deg. with the supplied diffuser that also softens the light; and a daylight-balanced color temperature of 5700K. TTL, Full and 5 fractional power settings in 1/2-stop increments are selectable. The DS51 provides a recycle time of approximately 3.5 sec, which is shortened on the lower power settings. The optional 4401 Adapter converts the strobe's sync cord bulkhead to a fiber-optic connection.
