512mb cards are the way to go if you are not shooting RAW. I have stopped using anything larger since a 2GB card died just after recording most of a VERY important job. We were able to recover almost all of the images--THANKS LEXAR--but no longer iwll I take that kind of a chance./

Good solid hardworking card and inexpensive. I purchased three but two are currently missing [don't worry I know where to find them, :)]. I have no complaints about this card other than I have a few associates who conveniently forgot where they borrowed them.

Lexar Media's Professional Series CompactFlash is designed to speed up image transfer times by taking advantage of a Digital SLR camera's high-speed processor. Capable of sustained write speeds of 6mb per second, making our CompactFlash cards ideal for any photograher who demands optimal performance from the card and camera they use.
Professional Series Compact Flash with Write Acceleration Technology
Write Acceleration Technology (WA) allows digital cameras and CompactFlash cardsto work together perfectly to pass and store images more quickly and achieve image-write speeds never before possible.
Speed rated at 40x (6 MB/s)
Improved write performance in WA enabled cameras.
Combination of camera and card firmware that reduces read/write protocol overhead for faster image storage
Performs the just like standard 40x cards in non WA enabled cameras *The actual "image storage time" will vary depending on the camera model and theparticular photo-shooting conditions.
Current camera models supporting Write Acceleration Technology
