I looked for a long time to find comparisons of the Induro gimbal with the more expensive Wimberley version, and couldn't find anyone who had tried both and found them to be substantially different. I'm pleased to say that my experience so far has been the same - this one seems just as strong and smooth as the Wimberley, and is substantially less expensive. My one minor complaint is that the assembly and set-up instructions are a little bit vague and may require some trial and error to get right.

Having acquired a larger lens I needed a Sturdier gimbal head and this certainly fits the bill. Very well built adjusts, easily . I have an Induro tripod and was well pleased with the quality and equally pleased with the quality of this head. Highly recomended

I finally purchased a gimbal head as a replacement for a ball head I've had for ages. I'm overall happy with the Induro but the vertical motion seems a bit stiff, Tightening it works, but there doesn't seem to be enough play when I loosen it to angle the lens up to track birds in flight. And you can't loosen it much. Still a good purchase.

I bought this for a Sigma 150-600mm lens. and it works perfectly. I hated paying $ which was more than my Manfrotto tripod and ball head, but I wouldn't trust one that was less expensive. So this is a great product!

The GHB2 carbon fiber gimbal head is ideal for very long, heavy telephoto lenses used in sports or bird/nature photography. Vertical and horizontal tracking of fast moving objects is quick and easy. And balancing a camera/lens system on a gimbal head makes it essentially "weightless" providing freedom of movement not possible with any other support system.
All heads include an Arca-Swiss compatible Quick Release Plate. Fits Series 3 & 4 Tripods.
