I purchased this case for my Coolpix S7000 based on information I saw online when I bought the camera. The case does fit my camera, but it is a tight fit. I would prefer that the case had enough room for a spare battery, but there is no place to put it in this case. The quality of the case is fine, and it is certainly space saving if you want to be able to slip it into a pocket.

The perfect case!
No one else had this case which fits my Nikon S7000 compact zoom camera perfectly. Shipping took only two days. All the items I ordered from Adorama (charger, battery and case) were brand new and boxed. I am so glad I found Adorama. I willo be ordering from them again and will tell my photographer friends.

Don't buy it.
Bought this for a Coolpix S6300, and it was too small. Case would not close when the camera was inside.

Nikon Leather protective case for coolpi
This case has proven protective and I carry the camera in my purse daily. the small size is exactgly the size of the camera. Perfect.

This case is perfect!
I run, bike, and kayak, this case is perfect for wherever I go, placed right in my running short side pockets, bike side pockets, or in my waterproof container while paddling (kayaking). When I first opened the box the flap did not close snugly, but almost immediately with first use, whatever kind of magnetic fastening device this uses, it closes perfectly. By having a leather case to put the camera in, the perspiration from running does not ruin the camera as it stays in my pocket while running or biking.

disappointed by this case
This case does not fit the s6100 as described. Also not that much protection as sides are open.

Not for all users
This case was designed for the female user. It will fit only fit in a purse and you can't close it. It has no snap button or latch. I had to buy a LowePro, model Ridge 30 in order to carry the camera without worrying about it dropping out of the case included with the camera. Nikon, you make enough profit off of your cameras stop being a McScrooge Duck and supply a decent case!!!
