Questions & Answers

JUDITH D : Would lenses for Olympus E series be compatible with this camera?Aaron M : Yes, Olympus E-series lenses are compatible, but only to an extent. The E-Series cameras actually have a traditional flip-mirror prism viewfinder and have what's called the Four-Thirds mount; there are lots of good Four-Thirds lenses, but they're larger. The Olympus E-M5 Mark II is a Micro Four-Thirds mount camera, and the Micro Four-Thirds mount saved lots of space/size/weight by going with a mirrorless design eliminating that traditional mirror-based prism. The Olympus MMF-3 adapter will adapt your larger Four-Thirds mount lenses directly to the Micro Four-Thirds mount, allowing autofocus and all other electronic communication to work between lens and camera. You'll be using bigger/heavier lenses than the Micro Four-Thirds lens lineup, though, and you'll probably lose a bit of autofocus speed. But they'll work alright with the correct adapter. Hope that's helpful.HARRY T : All Olympus lenses are compatible with an adapter. however manual focus only. It's fun to use them. I use a 50 mm Olympus Zuiko 1.4 becomes a 100 mm on micro 4/3rds camera. It was from my 1972 OM 35 mm.JEFFERY S : An adapter would be required.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?DENNIS G : I already have Olympus EM10 ii bodies and I wanted one with a swivel screen.

Fabulous Camera forTravel Hiking Biking Street Photography

By Walt

If I could give this camera 6 stars I would. I learned photography with a Canon 7 interchangeable lens rangefinder. When I got my first “real job” I got an OM-1 SLR and used it happily until fatherhood and mid-career pressures relegated serious photography and the camera to the closet. In 2006, my teenage son and I began climbing mountains in Colorado. By then it was the digital age & after documenting a couple of climbs with a digital point and shoot, I bought a Nikon DSLR with some very nic...

Compact camera that will blow your mind

By Amanda

I have owned this camera for almost 3 years and I am still learning all of its amazing features! I love how I can customize different function buttons and have had an absolute BLAST playing with the Live Composite mode. I have some fireworks pictures that I printed on metal and they make me smile every time I look at it. I also enjoy getting highway streak pictures. If you are wanting a more compact camera that has a ton of easy access features, then this is the camera for you. Also, as a sid...
