While it has many of the same features and specifications as its best-selling predecessor, the Lumix DMC-LX100 II comes with a few new upgrades: a 17MP 4/3" MOS sensor (increasing the megapixel count from 12.8MP to 17MP); a clearer and more vivid 3-inch TFT LCD display (921k-dots to 1240k-dots); and added touchscreen technologies for enhanced focus and exposure control. The increased resolution allows you to enjoy exclusive 4K PHOTO modes and record highly detailed, professional-quality 4K videos at 24p/30p while its Leica DC Vario-Summilux 24-75mm f/1.7-2.8 lens gives you a wide range of perspectives for various shooting situations. This built-in lens also features POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) and is made up of 11 lens elements in 8 groups—including aspherical and extra-low dispersion (ED) elements—for superior-quality images with minimized distortion and aberrations. The large maximum aperture provides impressive low light capabilities and offers true selective focusing, while the 9 aperture blades help ensure stunning bokeh quality. Finally, with a more refined body, a handier grip, and ergonomically placed control dials and buttons, this stylish compact camera is the perfect, easy-to-use imaging tool for everyday shooting.

The LUMIX LX100 II offers a 17.0-megapixel in 4:3 aspect. Even the finest details can be precisely captured with the increased resolution of the new sensor. Along with a full hybrid photography experience with 24p / 30p 4K video and exclusive 4K PHOTO modes, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and a near DSLR-like photo experience with traditional lens-mounted and body-mounted exposure controls.

The LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX lens (35mm camera equivalent: 24-75mm) comprises 11 elements in 8 groups, including 2 ED lenses and 5 aspherical lenses with 8 aspherical surfaces with POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer). The lens boasts F1.7-F2.8 high speed light capture and high descriptiveness in detail and resolution to corners. Together with the large MOS Sensor it also produces stunningly beautiful defocus.
