It incorporates three Super ED glass optical elements to effectively minimize chromatic aberration, a glass-molded aspherical optical element to compensate for spherical and comatic aberrations, and field curvature. I did an entire photoshoot with this lens. Headhshots, full length, single and family. Each photo seemed even better than the next. The clarity and focal response is the best I have ever shot with. The photos just pop. I also had the least amount of post processing in this lens than any of my others. They were just perfect right off the disk. Just another reason for staying with Pentax. They just keep making better and better.
