tough to get on camera
as much as I loved this package deal. I had to return it. The flash didn't sync to my sony alpha series. It may work with other ones, but not mine

Easy peasy flashy shiny
Little kids smiles will shine brighter now that I have my new flash for my new camera. Adorama took great care in shipping this product and it came in time for a holiday gift.

Met all expectations
Just purchased a Sony camera and I wanted a good, reasonably priced, all purpose flash. After looking at all of the options, I was glad that the Sony was the one I selected - and I have not been disappointed.

Sony flashes are more money than 3rd party. But I have found that 3rd party misses their triggers more often Sony and 3rd party flashes die quicker. But do not be nieve: They all die eventually.

Utterly Disappointed
I purchased this product less than a year ago. The flash worked great and it even worked with my original Sony flash as a master. Everything was fine. I don't do too much flash photography so I did not have much need to use the flash. About a month ago I went to set up my flashes for a photo shoot. When I mounted the flash on my Sony A7 camera I received the message that the flash was not compatible accessory. It turned out that the mount on the flash was damaged. I am trying to figure out how it could have possibly been damaged if the unit was only used 4 - 5 times. The really sad thing is that I really like and enjoy using Sony products and I was told that the particular damage was not covered under the warranty. It looks like the hot shoe mount on the flash may be a weak point. Other than that the flash did do what I was looking for a flash to do.

Easy to use
Bought it for a 50th wedding party, fitted on A77 and everybody was very pleased with the images. Used automatic and my first use of a sophisticated flsh. Great results

Hot shoe mount breaks easy.
The foot mount will break. I have several that break and am now going back to canon. I love the A7r2 but the flash system sucks. I do weddings and off camera Flash, all the time with my seniors, having an extensive reliable flash system that doesn't break when you bump it against your body when you have two cameras setup is a MUST. BYE BYE Sony! Back to a good ole reliable flash system that canon has. If you ever decide to strengthen your foot on your flashes, I would consider your camera again. I love them but need a reliable tough camera flash system.

Great external flash
I've been very happy after a month with this flash. I use this with my Sony a6000 and it's sized just right for the compact camera body. High speed sync works flawlessly and the TTL metering is great.

Nice flash for the Sony E-mount, works well with the a7Rii and a6300, but use it mostly with the a6300 and Carl Zeiss 16-70 or Zeiss Touit 32

NIce Flash - very compact
It seems like the contacts are flimsy looking at the connections onthe base. Wonder how long it will last before there are problems.

Great flash
Bought it for my a6000 and a7ii for its high speed syn features. Works perfectly with both cameras and am very satisfied with its performance. Built quality is very good. Great slim form factor. Recycling time is very fast on ttl mode. Highly recommended!

Amateur photographer.
Excellent little flash unit for any amateur photographer, very easy to set up and use, particularly useful as a remote flash; I started getting improved results the moment I started using it. A little pricey perhaps but for the build quality and reliability you get with Sony I feel a little extra is worth paying.
