Got this case to stowe my RX1 gear. Ultimately there is not a ton of gear needed as the RX1 is a fixed lens small FF camera. The bag easily holds the camera, 2+ filters, EVF in its leather case, extra batteries, SD cards and lens/camera cleaning/dusting odds & ends. I also fit a blower bulb in as well. I don't yet have a cable release for this camera but imagine the bag could make room for a smaller one to fit. While the RX1 is heavy for a small body, with everything in this bag that has a hand handle and shoulder/cross body strap, this whole kit seems quite light. It is very comfortable. The shoulder strap is just long enough for a sizeable man to wear cross-body style... sitting on the top side of my hip. The construction seems quality with a bit of style, with multiple fabrics used and a slim reflective silver fabric accent that runs along the front. Ultimately it still looks a bit like a camera bag / man-purse but it is quite functional and has efficient use of space, including 2 velcro removeable dividers. The interior is felt-like, but not too hairy. The bag has descent padding, good enough for me, but I've seen other bags with more. There are nice pulls on the zippers, a number of small zippered compartments and a thin shoulder pad on the strap. The shoulder strap cannot be removed (unless you want to use scissors). I like that the top folds outwards when unzipped rather than towards me, as this helps prevent dropping items from the bag and provides a better view of contents while still wearing the bag. There is no flap over the outside zippers so would not call it weather-proof. Smaller cases could hold just the RX1, but this is a great size to carry my mainstay materials and grab-and-go knowing it is all there. If I wanted to travel light with my NEX 5N could imagine the camera with lens + an extra lens would fit. All-in-all does what it needs to do with a dash of style and quaity.
