There are several speakers that will work with Skype as a conference call speaker. The problem is not the speaker but the mic. I purchased the Jabra 410 for that purpose. In the office with one or two people the mic is so good that is is difficult to distinguish between speaking directly into a handset or a speaker phone. In a larger conference call it manages multi users easily. It’s very impressive.

First saw this product at a friend's office and i just loved the clarity of the Skype calls. I had to buy one for myself. It has turned out to be an excellent choice. The Jabra Speak 410 works well as an addition to SKYPE meetings. Prior to purchasing the Jabra, some of my SKYPE callers could not hear others in the room. Now it's like they are in the room with us and can hear everything normally.

I utilize this speaker at work because our Polycom speakers do not work that well. This speaker is so much better in quality and clarity. Attendees to my Skype calls have mentioned that the sound quality is clearer in both what they are hearing on their end and also what is heard from the speaker itself. This is highly recommended.

This speaker is great. My company uses Skype a lot to communicate and have meetings mostly with headphones. We would have to dial in with a speakerphone if one location had more than one person in the room. The sound quality was terrible. This Jabra eliminates the phone. The sound quality is great. I would buy another in a second.
