Questions & Answers

richard b : is there a place for tripod ?MICHAEL I : I rigged one up by putting the legs through the handles and strapping it to the front. The are loops for tie downs.DAVID C : Yes, there is a small pocket. On the front of the pack at the bottom. They are straps at the top. One leg of your tripod goes in the pocket and simply strap the top.PAUL M. F : No, but KATA makes an adaptor that attaches to the bottom clips and Velcro loops to the top. Check Kata's web site for model# and price. Seems I paid ~$20 for mineANDREW L : You can buy a separate attachment that will hold a tripod in back. It is reliable, though you'd likely only be able to use a small travel tripod that folds up to 2' or a bit more. It can be bulky too - I've accidentally hit a wall here and there with the head while in a tight corner. But it works.JOSHUA J. A : Yes I use the straps on the front of mine and it is secured quite nicely.

Top Notch

After weeks of reading and watching reviews, learning on how well built Kata bags are made and how well the have held up over the years for folks. That part was settled for me. The build quality is top notch. From the zippers. interior and exterior materials. But what I realy NEEDED to know what gear will it hold. This is what I currently hav and can fit into the bag. Canon 600d with a battery grip that says on full time a Sigma f1.4 30mm attached. A Canon f4 70-200. Also both hoods, battery charger, extra battery tray for grip. Cleaning items and lens caps for the Sigma. You would have just enough room for 1 more lens. Great bag!

Great bag and more than I expected!!

I've only had this backback a couple weeks but it's a lot more sturdy and versatile than I was anticipating. I'm taking it on my first trip this week and am excited to use it. I'm only 5'4" so I was concerned about it fitting my frame. It's perfect. It doesn't have a specific area for a tablet or laptop and that's the only enhancement I'd add for this smaller bag.
