HOWARD J : Is this 16gb card and the 32gb card compatible with a Canon T2i Rebel camera?RALPH H : I bought the Kingston Technology 16GB Ultimate X Class 10 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Card for use in my Panasonic Lumix FZ-100 camera. It has worked well. The only time I ran into problems was when I tried to use the camera without enough juice in the battery. As it can take a long time to write video to the card, (even at 10X) you must have plenty of reserve in the battery. I kept shooting after the low battery light illuminated and lost what I was trying to record. Other than this issue, I plan to get another one of these Kingston Technology 16GB Ultimate X Class 10 Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Memory Cards. As to using the 32 GB card, I have not tried it, but should be a simple matter of the spec's of your camera. The 2 GB capacity defined by the SD 1.1 standard wasn’t enough as card sizes grew, so the SD 2.0 or SDHC standard was added. It allows for capacities of up to 32 GB today; the standard is potentially ready for capacities of up to 2 TB. SDXC will follow next year, as 32 GB may remain the limit for the SDHC standard. Note that SDHC and SD cards are identical from the outside, so be sure your device supports SDHC before purchasing such a card (4 GB and up).DENNIS R : we bought the card for a canon t1i and it works just fine, so my guess is yesJEREMY H : Hello Howard: Yes, this SD card should be compatible with the Rebel T2i. I've used it with my t3i and it works fine. Sorry I can't tell you positively about the T2i use, but I've used 16 GB cards with Canon models that are older than the T2i, such as the G10 - no problem, works fine. Hope that helps. - JeremyWILLIAM S : Yes, but you may be able to use a cheaper ,lower density card with your camera, depending on how many frames /sec your camera will capture. My Canon 60D will capture 5.6 frames/sec HD, and needs the class 10 SDHC card to accomplish that speed.JOHN M : Yes.RAMAKRISHNA M : Yes it is compatible It works goodBRIAN K : I don't know about the 32 GB card, but the 16 GB card is fully compatible and has a formatted capacity of 14.8 GB.
Shopper : Is this a reliable product with good quality?MANUEL C : I have used Kingston Technology memory products for some time and have never experienced any problems or trouble with them. This class 10 SDHC card is very good in my opinion. I have formatted it in my digital recorder without a hitch and it has performed very well indeed.MICHAEL F : In short yes - I've not no reliability or quality problems. In truth I've had it only about a month - and haven't put it through all the paces I'd like. I will say, took it out on the 4th and got what I thought was some nice fireworks shots - and it did well doing a video clip of some of the fireworks. Overall I'm pleased with it.ASTRID T : I have had Kingston 16GB Class 10 card in my Rebel T2i since purchasing it in April. I have taken HD video with it as well as many pictures. The quality and speed met all my expectations and I have not had any problems with the card.IRVING S : According to a friend of mine who is an avid photographer it is an excellent memory card...I have not had the opportunity to use it but will shortly be going to Europe and will have ample opportunity to try them outWILLIAM S : Haven't used it yet, but judging from all the other Kingston SDHC cards I have, I'm betting it's the best. It's class 10, which fits my camera's speed requirements.SCOTT M : Yes, I have not had any issues with this card.JOHN H : Kingston has been a leader in the computer memory field for many many years. Founded in California in 1987, last year they had nearly $5 billion in sales - the largest (by far) 3rd party memory manufacturer in the world. Yes, their products are reliable and of high quality.TRAVIS P : I purchased this Kingston 16GB SDHC class 10 card due to another brand class 10 card I had messing up on me. Kingston is a top brand who stand behind their products and carry a lifetime warranty on their products as well. I have since used this card and noticed a definite speed increase and the download/transfer speeds are flawless as well. Definitely a reliable product and one of the best out there!!!DENNIS R : so far so good our camera is taking video at 720p and the results are very acceptableJULIE POOLE P : It has been fine so far. Had no issues and seems to write fast enough to not notice any buffer lag. Haven't really put it to a hard test though
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?ANDREW T : I needed high capacity storage for the 18 megapixal camera I took to Africa on safari. I knew that I'd be shooting a lot of pictures and I didn't want to run out of storage. I downloaded pictures nightly to my Hyperdrive UDMA portable hard drive.HOWARD J : I chose Kingston memory primarily because of its reliability. Whenever I need memory, I try to use Kingston as my first choice. In this case, I want to ensure my photos secure in memory.DONALD N : needed a faster chip for HD Video on my Canon 60 D. Works well.TRAVIS P : I chose this Kingston Card due to Kingston is a reliable name and I needed a fast Class 10 card that I can use at the Dirt Race Track doing photography for sprint cars. This card fit the bill perfectly..

A good solid product as usual from Kings

I went with Kingston because of my past experience with them. I have not been disappointed. I needed the class 10 and 16 gig storage because of the number and size the pictures I get with an 18 megapixel camera.

Great deal!

I like Kingston as a reasonably priced high quality card. Plenty fast for photo and video when the fastest read/write is not needed. Works great in S95 and 60D cameras.

Pretty good

Had a scary incident where I lost access to the card, lost all that data and had to reformat. Could have been the card could have been the camera. Only happened once. So 4 stars from me.

Biggest Mistake of Last Week

I purchased two of these cards in-store last week. Kingston has good reviews, and I needed the extra space for an upcoming wedding. I know I shouldn't use new and un-tested equipment on a job, but getting a decent SD card from a reliable manufacturer really shouldn't be that complicated. Apparently, however, it *is* complicated. All the camera seemed to be doing fine, and all was going well throughout the evening. I was playing images back without any issue, and saw no indication of trouble. The following morning was a different story. I inserted the disk into the card reader, and started copying files over. I immediately noticed that the transfer process was excruciatingly slow, perhaps 500mb / minute. Ten minutes in, Finder gave me an error that a file was corrupt. I ejected the disk, and tried again. I got 5 files copied over this time before the error popped up. Now, looking at the card, I have approximately 60-75 files out of 300 that are corrupt, and all in one group. I cheaped out and went with what I thought was a reliable card in Kingston, but from now on, I'm Sandisk or Lexar all the way.

So far so good.

The best deal I could find on a Kingston SDHC 16GB Class 10 card. Kingston memory cards have always worked consistently without failure on all my jobs. So far this card has been used successfully on two different jobs and it appears to be a genuine Kingston SDHC card.

Low Cost Memory Card for Nikon D7000

After two weeks both the cards I purchased are working fine in my Nikon D7000. They are able to keep up with Video capture and Raw file capture. If they hold up, they are a real good buy.
