Best B&W Film

Tri-x has been my favorite film for many years. It's a breeze scanning or printing in my darkroom. So glad that it's back in my price range again. I also like how Adorama sweetened up the deal and basically  threw in a a free Pro Optic Cleaning Kit. Plus, the film they sent in the 10-pack is super fresh.

I received two of the three pack in my order but the customer service folks corrected and shipped out the third right away.

I always always get great results with this film. Like dad said you only get what you pay for so you want the best "BUY" the best. Being new to film I need all the help I can get but i am getting there. Oh yea learning developing too. Pretty easy to do. I would recommend this film to anyone who "WANTS" quality.

Getting TX400 "GREAT" results

This is a good moderate speed black and white film.  It was the standard until train films came out.  So why is tri-x still available decades after tmax and delta and similar t grain films came on the market?  There's just something about tri-x.

400 Tri-X

Kodak TriX is my go-to BW film with wide range latitude for push pull. The additional cleaning kit is wonderful and quite helpful while traveling.

My go to bw film. Fast enough for all types of weather, great depth of grayscale and able to hold on when being pull two stops. I hope it is still available for long time.

It's 400TX. Its reputation precedes it. Sharp film despite the graininess, killer tones and a lot of latitude.
