It is equipped with an anti-reflective corrosion-resistant coating, which minimizes artifacts and boosts the filter's durability, especially in humid regions. The 58mm IR/UV Cut Color Correcting Hot Mirror Lens Filter is the first of its kind, specifically designed for use with a full spectrum or two-spectrum converted camera. It mirrors the transmission of the hot mirror filters that cameras typically employ, allowing for regular use of the camera with all the standard white balance presets still functional. Unlike other hot mirror filters that are clear, this filter is blue, mirroring the original lowpass filters found in cameras. This color confirms that the filter is blocking the same wavelengths.
