Those are older generation, but I would take them any day over any other speakers in the price range. Adorama had them for the lowest price on market, in stock, with free delivery. So here we go. Initially I wanted a plain stereo no subwoofer for more balanced sound, and man that was a right decision ! Confident, toned bass, and clear yet mellow, perfectly positioned highs. The sound stage is huge, fills the whole ~800 sqft double height living room no effort. Keeping them further away from the walls made any DSP correction excessive, even in this room with rather complex geometry and no audio preparation. In fact, they sound so great that even powering them off a mediocre audio amplifier delivers a next level sound. Which in turn gives a lot of options to play with, without sacrificing audio quality. Discovering new sounds in the music I've been listening for for years, is a special pleasure. Although be warned, that all recording or compression issues may, and probably will, stand out. The speakers are fantastic. They sound great and they look good doing it. These pair well with my Denon X 3800 H and my clips reference cinemas surround sound Atmos speakers.

After reading professional reviews about the quality of the Klipsch 8000F speakers, and an excellent sale price of $549 at Adorama, I ordered the speakers. These speakers are excellent, and compare to more expensive speakers in quality. Excellent bass without a subwoofer, as well as excellent high notes. I felt the ebony and piano black colors were too dominant and held out for the walnut color which is a softer color and blends well with my decor. Best to have two people unpack the speakers, but it can be done with one person if you are careful.

I?m a vintage Klipsch (Heresy I, Forte II, KG-4) and JBL (L65,L112,L120) collector so wasn?t sure what to expect from these, but I?m very impressed and pleased. From Supertramp, Genesis, Yes, Rush to Glass Animals, Beck, and Broken Bells these are much more ?open? plus more crisp details than my others (& MartinL?s set on top). The Forte IIs seem more efficient and produce more of a wall of sound, but I prefer the more realistic soundstage of the RP-8000F?s. The family doesn?t really care, but they notice the differences too. My daughter loves Adele, and now I appreciate her vocals & songs on these speakers more too. As for bass, love deep strong bass, had ordered a R-12SWi but still haven?t hooked up after 3 weeks as these produce amazing, deep, clear bass. I didn?t pay attention to the ones that say a sub is not necessary, but they?re right. I?ll still add the sub for HT use and more deep bass, but definitely not necessary. Walnut finish is not textured, but understood at this price.

I?d been looking into getting these speakers for awhile but had to wait until I had the cash. Was looking into a b stock pair originally but finally caught a super deal here on Adorama. Caught a deal here through Slickdeals and couldn?t pass them up. Guess it helps that the new model was released but whatever. Hooked these speakers up and I love them. They go great with my 504c center channel as they should. Klipsch puts out some amazing speakers and I absolutely love them. Maybe one day I?ll upgrade again but these will last a long time I?m sure. I don?t think you?d be disappointed if you bought these to use in a good cinema or even for music.

Absolutely love these Klipsch this bundle speakers!!! Speakers were shipped in all original packaging, speakers arrived in perfect condition!! The sound of these beautiful speakers are awesome!! The imaging is superb! The horns are crisp without being brash. The dual 8" woofers do a great job alone. These completed my 5.1 system. All paired together it simply kicks in every possible way!! It's all driven through a Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A2A which is more than capable of delivering the goods through the system. Everyone that has heard my new system are just blown away by the clean, clear sounds all the way through the volume levels. Once again I will say, do not hesitate to purchase "open box" speakers though these guys!!! Will definitely not be my last order and can't wait to get

I actually ended up with the Walnut finish. I think the ebony look a bit more authentic. The walnut look a tad like a sticker veneer. However they sound fantastic. I plugged them Into an existing Klipsch surround sound system powered with Harman Kardon receiver and it?s sounds fantastic powerful but clear and focused. All of the instruments are represented well through out the sonic spectrum. I?m not an audiophile persey, however info understand music and sonic properties. These speakers make me want to listen to music more and watch more movies, especially ones that are mixed well and have a strong emphasis on sound. Go get a pair you won?t regret it.

I've had these about a month for home theater and also got the marantz sr 6015 which is a 9.2 channel av receiver along with 4 sa500 Dolby Atmos, a pair of rp502 surround and the rp404 center channel and the spl-150 subwoofer. Now I wouldn't say that they're perfect but they're pretty darn close. I'm really enjoying movies all over again.

Nice, clear, bright full sound. Great value speakers for all purpose listening. Enjoying for both theater and music in an open floor plan home, and they really fill up the listening area! Doesn't require a lot of power as they are highly efficient.

Excellent performance. But only disappointment was, the AVR which was part of system, it was never in stock, and it was not mentioned before ordering the item. After making the purchase it was in backorder and had to cancel the AVR and just took the system. But it affected overall budget as I had to buy AVR separately which was higher in cost.

I have had it for two years 2 x RP8000 + 1 x RP404C + 2 x SPL120 + 2 x RP500SA + 2 x RP500M + 2 x RP502S for my 7.2.2 setup connected to Yamaha RX-A3080. The sound quality is simply awesome. The greatest improvement I have experienced over my previous Bose lifestyle is that I don't have to crank up the volume to get the effect. The clarity of sound even at low volumes is a treat. I love the setup and think that these speakers will last me 20 years especially with the build quality I got with my walnut finish.

Wow is all I can say. The RP8000Fs are a beast. I have been using Klipsch for 3 years now and decided to upgrade from the reference series to the full Reference premiere series. These speakers and absolutely fantastic. The build quality and sound detail is out of this world. Absolutely fell in love with Klipsch. Worthy upgrade and such a step up. Would definitely recommend it.

I paid $377 delivered, price wise, at 500, I was just about to order Elac?s when this went on sale, boy am I happy! These are as good as the YouTube reviewers say it is, I considered Elac, JBL, Triangle, KEF, and others, and from a value perspective, I think that this was a fantastic bang for the buck, and I?m glad to purchase my fourth and fifth for pair of Klipsch speakers, Epic CF3 v1, Epic CF3 v2, KG 5.2, and now, RP600M with two R-100SW?s, I?m over the moon with my new Klipsch?s!

Really a fun speaker to own. I?ve owned other speakers costing multiple times the price of these that weren?t as much fun to listen to. They?re not perfect in every way, but they sound bigger than any other bookshelf speaker I?ve listened to lately. Highly recommended.
