Easy way to impress
I bought these 2 years ago to pair with a Sony DTS590 5.2 Receiver for a smaller living area. In short, you can't beat them. Accurate sound reproduction, solid construction and that the grilles off for a touch of class. I always get questions and compliments about my setup.

Great compact Klispch system
It is a very good theater system for the price. The sound is crisp and clear. the subwoofer is loud for its size with 60% gain.

These are NOT wireless speakers!
We just moved in to our new house and I?m finally getting my home theater set up. These are NOT wireless speakers! Each speaker needs to be wired to a separately-purchased amplifier. There is no power input on the speakers to set them on the side of the room without running wires along the floor or ceiling. In my open room, I can?t use these without laying a throw rug across the floor alongside the sofa.
I have no idea of the quality of sound because they?re not usable.

This klipsch system is great!!

Bang for the buck

I was nervous about an 8? sub but that hits hard and for the room we have it in it fills it. The highs are crisp and clear the mids blend very well. This is a great budget home theater system

Partially shipment without notification
The surround sound system was partially shipped and the speakers arrived a couple weeks ago. However, the system included the transmitter which was backordered and when I contacted Adorama they have told me they have NO IDEA on an ETA??? Speakers sound good but no transmitter. Very disappointed on customer service at Adorama

Good, but not great.
If you?re looking for an ?all in one box? solution for a 5.1 speaker system for a second room or small living room then this kit will solve it for you. They sound good for what they are. These are not going to give you the ?theater? quality, room filling sound of a traditional floor standing speaker set, but they are more than adequate for a second room or smaller living space where said traditional speakers won?t work. Everything you need is in the box, including a wireless transmitter for the sub so that you can place it anywhere in the room. Just know that this transmits on the 2.4 GHz spectrum so it could cause interference with your Wi-Fi network. I purchased two of these kits, one for the kids room and the other for a guest bedroom. They were perfect for these rooms. These are not the highest quality speakers by any stretch. The housing is plastic and the 1/4-20 thread mounts are easily broken. Ask me how I know this?! But for a simple solution for what I needed they are fine.
