After 15 years with a Multicart R12 I switched to the Krane. First impression it is definitely heavier that the Rock n Roller but the center wheels means that it will spin in place to turn in tight corridors, elevators etc. The handles feel a lot more secure when pushing a heavy load and the different configurations are fantastic. I particularly like it as a two wheel cart with the handle in the high vertical position. It may not last as long as the R12 but I wish I had bought this a long time ago. Definitely reccomend if you are carrying heavy loads.

Well worth the price

Love this cart. Very well made and easy to maneuver. I use mine at dog shows. It can also be configured in many ways so it’s versatile and can be used for moving etc, even long sofas or heavy items. Yet it folds up small enough to fit into a small car trunk.

Great Cart! I love it!

The bottom line is that the cart is brilliant. I’ve only used mine in the longest platform configuration since this holds the most gear. But even at this length the zero radius turning is positively amazing for getting around tight corners and through awkward configurations in hallways etc. I hesitated on the purchase of this cart as it does seem like a lot of money but I feel like it’s paid for itself on the first day I used it. I own a sound production company and I have to move thousands of pounds of gear around. The wheel locks work well. I’m deducting one star for the center wheels. This cart is pretty darn expensive and I feel like the company could’ve made the center wheels on a hub with a bearing(like the rear wheel on a motorcycle) at this price to have a profoundly stronger center wheel design. Anyways the longevity of the unit is yet to be determined and so for now I highly recommend this product for anyone moving stuff around.

Pretty Awesome Cart!

We use this for moving our custom flypack pelican cases from site to site and it fits 6-8 large pelicans nicely.  With excessive weight on this cart it proves to be much easier to move than our multicarts that bend and bow.  Would recommend for heavy lifting as the cart is a bit heavier than a multicart.

Heavy duty where you need it most.

One of the best things about the trolley is its width. Working in New York City means getting gear through a lot of narrow doorways, small lifts and tight spaces. The Krane AMG250 is amazing for this. It is also incredibly flexible with lots of useful outcomes, simply designed and packs away perfectly for a NYC production house. Great buy.

Excellent size and flexibility

At over ($), this is definitely a higher end cart. I bought it because it was recommended to me by many people, and because I needed something for off-road terrain. 

Works great in that regard, but I have found that the 4 outer wheels don't stay on properly. Even after proper installation, one fell off in my car and another was very loose (only found this out after I loaded up my equipment and the cart tipped while I was crossing a busy Manhattan street. #Disaster)

I assume it might be a one item fluke because my friends have not had this issue. I might request a replacement if the problem persists.

Fantastic item, BUT...

Downsizing from larger production carts can be tricky.  This one solves a lot of problems that other smaller units don't.
