An essential accessory for audio professionals, the KPTA Sidekick Bottom Plug-On Transmitter Adapter Module is specifically designed for seamless integration with Mighty Boompoles. This innovative attachment allows users to effortlessly connect a plug-on wireless transmitter, enhancing the functionality of their audio setup. The module features a Male 3-pin XLR Transmitter Adapter that faces upward, complemented by a removable rubber bottom for added convenience and protection.Crafted to fit perfectly into Boom Pole Storage Units such as the Boombox or Boom Caddy, the KPTA adapter securely attaches to the base of any Mighty boompole. It is compatible with plug-on wireless transmitters, making it a versatile choice for various audio applications. To complete the setup, a Cable Kit (KPCK9, KPCK12, KPCK16, KPCK20) with a TA3F connector is required. This kit easily plugs into the KPTA module after being threaded through the top of the Mighty boompole, allowing the bottom module to be screwed onto the threaded sleeve at the base without the need for soldering.Proudly made in the USA, the KPTA module measures 5.5 x 3.2 inches (140 x 80mm) and is constructed from high-quality machined aluminum. It features the new Mighty Boompole black anodizing process, which provides a superior grip and a smoother feel. The Male 3-pin XLR adapter is designed to face upward, and the module includes a sleeve and collar on top to ensure a snug fit with any of the new Mighty boompoles, including models KP9, KP12, KP16, and KP20.Weighing in at 7.7 ounces (218 grams), the KPTA module, when combined with a wireless transmitter, also serves as an effective counterweight. This added balance enhances the stability of the boom pole and microphone, ensuring optimal performance during use.
