I have been using the Rode mic with that same cable and decided to get another for use with my second setup consisting of a Zoom H1n mic/recorder and Samsung camera phone. Just the right size and works perfectly.

I purchased the cord because of the 90 degree plug. It connects my phone to a hidden aux jack with little clearance. Works as expected. Could be a little longer for my purpose, but works fine.

Couldn't be used with an iPod Touch in its case - not low-profile enough. By 'low-profile' I mean how narrow it is just outside of the male connector. It probably works fine for an iPhone since they're a little thicker. The iPod touch is really narrow. I have some cables that I like that are very low-profile, but they are much longer and not coiled. Was hoping this would work, but it did not. The cable itself seems of good quality and the coil is tight enough to keep its original shape, but not so tight that it will tug on your equipment.
