Battery or Smartphone Power
When the function switch is set to the Camera position, the included button-cell battery provides the power you need to record to a DSLR, camcorder, computer, or tablet. When it's set to the Phone position, it turns off the battery to preserve battery life, and the microphone operates using the bus power from your smartphone.

Twenty-Foot Cable
The 19.7-foot microphone cable gives you plenty of room to get long-range shots while still capturing up-close audio.
