I'm happy with the desktop itself however the corner of the desk came damaged. The box looked like it was retapped before it left the building. If the desktop wasn't damaged definitely would have given it 5 stars.

It is high quality and works well with my 42"x72" table top weighing 75 lbs. Lowest and highest positions are more than adequate. Instructions call for drilling mounting holes into the bottom of the table top before assembling stand and placing table top on the stand. I concluded that I would not be able to find the pre-drilled mounting holes. I drilled screw holes with tabletop on the assembled stand. C-clamps are required to hold the top and frame while drilling.

so far, it's ok, but I'm really annoyed that it does not have the cross bar. the main reason I had purchased this model was the cross bar because I knew I would be mounting a very large top to it.

Great desk. I journeyed to Ikea the day before it was delivered and grabbed the Linnmon table top in Black (59" wide x 29.5" deep x 1.375" thick) to pair with the frame. It's huge and awesome, despite being deceivingly lightweight. Ikea desktops have leg holes pre-drilled in the bottom, but even after telescoping out the Mount-it frame, it turned out the desktop's mounting holes were just barely too uneven with the Mount-it's to fit perfectly. So I had to take a drill and measure/bore new holes for the frame to fit. Everything took a few cumulative hours to get it fully built, but it was easy to follow the instructions especially after getting the desktop on.Now I'm loving hitting the button and watching it go up as I cast my chair across the room and stretch my legs, or lower it to sit if I've been up for a while or need to focus hard on something. I used to have 2 huge desks, onto one of which I piled wood crates and a loose plywood sheet to use as a standing desk, and manually transferred my monitor to each half when I wanted to sit or stand. This saves me a ton of room and makes it exponentially easier than my insane way of doing it (but you gotta do what you gotta do to stand).!!!BUT!!! here are a few tips you will absolutely have to keep in mind:1. Annoyingly, there are NO automatic safety features whatsoever to emergency stop the desk when it's rising/lowering and hits something. I have it placed in my room next to a wall with a small crawlspace door that swings open. One day I left the door ajar and didn't realize it was in the desk's path of motion. So when I lowered from standing, suddenly my desktop started clipping the top of the open door on the way down, and just kept going. The motor on this thing is pretty powerful so the desk started tipping forward from the force and making a bit of a crunching sound. Luckily I freaked out & whacked the touch screen buttons in time to stop the desk and raise it back up, but had I not, it probably would've snapped the desktop in half and sent my 4K monitor tumbling to an early grave. It did nearly succeed in ripping the top hinge off the door.To prevent this you'll want to dial in a sitting and standing height preset as soon as you build it, and only use those instead of the manual up/down buttons, if you dare to put anything anywhere near the underside of the desk. My computer tower is under it and now I'm paranoid and squat down to watch every time I raise or lower it.This also means you should give particular care to your cable management. I zip-tied a power strip as high up on the frame as I could (NOT on the crossbar where your feet go) so it would move with the desktop, and ran all my power cables into that. Then you only have to worry about one long power strip cord going to the outlet. I already broke one of my speaker's RCA cables when it pulled completely apart like a medieval prisoner on the rack, after I lowered the desk onto the taut cable.2. The touchscreen control panel goes into "sleep mode" after 1 minute, displaying the numbers as 3 dashes "---" and won't do anything. You have to press & hold the "M" button for 3 seconds to wake it up. Confusing & is kinda hidden in the manual. That's about it though, this thing was definitely worth it, sturdy, and everyone should have one. However it's also almost identical to every other electric desk frame, so you should shop around for the best price. The VIVO frame looks similar and is cheaper, as well as a few other desks . But I actually found this exact one elsewhere for a significantly cheaper price than even any of the options.Just be careful what you put under it and manage your cables well, and it's a must-have.

Very reasonable price, great value. Was packaged well and very heavy. The desk is quiet (during operation) and stable. You can change the desk height during a phone call without the noice being an issue. I had a question about how to wake the controller up after inactivity and the seller responded very promptly. For the record, the question was actually answered in the manual which I read but missed the answer. Nonetheless, they answered my stupid question and for that, I'm appreciative!

I was a little hesitant to buy then after seeing some complaints on here about this desk, but I didn't experience any of it. The motor is super fast and quiet. There is no wobble at all because of the cross bar and also because its made of metal. I've tested a couple at the Ikea store and they were all wobbly when you raise it to standing height. One unfortunate trade off is the fact that it weighs a ton. It took me a while to put it together only because its difficult to handle the desk by oneself. Its definitely a pain if you are planning to move it around or transport it.

The quality of this product is beyond expectations! Very high quality, heavy duty. You will kick yourself for not getting it sooner. If you work at a PC all day, get this ordered right away. I programmed the 3 quick set buttons ones from standing height, one for sitting and one for kneeling. I used a pine 1.5" thick 29" x 60" top bought separately from another vendor. Amazing combination. The only thing I feel they could have improved on it is the communication cables included for connecting controller to the drive motors. REMEMBER: The touch screen display goes to sleep after 5mins of inactivity. Press and hold the M button on display for 5 secs until the 3 horizontal lines become numbers. Then you can press the programmable buttons or up and down arrows. I originally thought my controller was bad but I was simply not waking it up.

I convinced my department to get this desk for me as we have a bunch of old tabletops. I am SO happy they did it.Assembly was do-it-yourselfer quality; if you aren't pretty handy you won't want to buy this or get someone else to assemble it I didn't have any problems.I've had it about 3 months now and LOVE it. the electronic up-down makes changing the height super simple. It has 3 pre-sets and it goes to them perfectly level every time for me. I can switch between them so easily I can switch from up to down with the exact same location every time quickly with ease. I have one preset for standing up, one preset for sitting down and doing serious typing, and one preset for sitting down when I am being slouchy in my chair and thinking more than typing. My only recommendation is to consider getting one of the ergonomic pads for your feet. I don't have one and wish I did. A piece of carpet helped.

This Desk Frame is excellent, assembly was quick. Smooth movement while changing heights, does not rock even with a 27th inch laptop + monitor mount attached to the table top.

PROS: Heavy, SOLID construction of frame. It's very stable. Just as important, the motors are quick and quiet. The touchscreen is responsive, saving height settings is easy, recalling them is just as easy; setting takes 2 buttons, recalling is just 1.CONS: I currently have a ticket in with them because while the table maintains a level position, it achieves it with the legs extended different amounts, which I don't think it's supposed to do. I've tried resetting the controls per the instructions, but it won't reset. Maybe it doesn't matter, I'll update my review once I hear from them. As is, I'd rate it 2-3 stars since it works, just not sure it's working as intended or that I can fix it. If I can resolve this and get it to work, I'd give it 5 stars.I'll also agree with a previous post that the IKEA Gerton desktop is a real winner. I shopped table tops of that same size and they were anywhere from 2 to 3 times as expensive. It required a little oil and some light sanding (220+ to make it super smooth), but it's well worth it.

This frame is built like a tank. Easy to assemble. Quiet and smooth. Paired it with a Gerton 100% beech wood desk top from Ikea for 89.99 and a quality keyboard drawer, the "Alera Sedina Series Underdesk Keyboard/Mouse Shelf." The crossbar adds more stability. The desk raises and lowers quickly. I couldn't be happier with a purchase. For just under 500.00 I have a quality sit/stand desk including the keyboard drawer. If you shopped around like I did, you can't beat the value if you've been shopping around the internet. This is my first review and I felt that it was important to let people know that this frame is excellent. I hope the buyer that's having issues gets them resolved.

I ordered this standup desk as I was looking to replace my 10plus years old fixed desk. I wanted to keep my old desk top as it is still function and fits my needs. The product was shipped in excellent packaging ( good job manufacturer ). Even the external box got ripped ( cardboard ) internally everything was in pristine condition. The part list and instructions were very easy all needed tools were included in the packaging. Build the whole stand in less than 45min. The memory key pad functional and very close to the professional build. The only "ding" is around the cable management kit (included in packaging). The sticky tape keep coming off from :(.Overall good build quality and easy installation!!
