Director One features an HDMI output port, making it easy to connect to an external screen for a larger display experience. Connected touchscreen displays can even control the Director One in reverse, providing an intuitive and flexible way to manage productions.

Incredible Input Source Flexibility
Users can switch between two HDMI inputs and two USB AV inputs as well as three simultaneous live IP sources including SRT streams, RTMP streams, RTSP streams, NDI High Bandwidth and NDI HX sources. Users can bring in up to three NDI sources simultaneously, one of which can be used as a motion graphics overlay with NDI alpha channel. HTML webpages and file-based media assets including video, audio and images can also be combined freely with live sources.

Flexible Layouts and Powerful Production Tools
Users can define multiple scenes that combine live video and audio inputs with network streams, media sources and graphics, then switch or transition between these scenes on the fly. Director One also offers multi-source scene layout presets, making it easier and faster for content creators to produce engaging multi-camera event streams. High-quality Streaming and Recording
Director One can encode video up to 1080p at 60 frames per second and bitrates up to 30Mbps. Productions can be streamed via RTMP to popular platforms such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or custom destinations. SRT output supports high-quality remote production workflows, while NDI HX3 output is ideal for local IP-based production. Content can also be recorded to an SD card or the device's internal storage. Two-channel ISO recording lets users choose from the program output, HDMI inputs or USB inputs.

Ideal for Production in the Studio or in the Field
Director One can be powered with the included power adapter but also supports two NP-F hot-swappable external batteries (not included), enabling it to be used anywhere and ensuring uninterrupted power for long productions. The device will preferentially use the battery with a higher charge. If the two batteries have the same charge level, they will supply power to the device simultaneously.
