Great scope for a crossbow. Crystal clear with a great reticle.

Scope reticle light could be brighter. I thought the optics would be better for the money.

Received the scope but have not attached to my xbow yet. Looking through the scope, it is crystal clear and has all the yardage marks a xbow hunter could need. Like I said I have not field tested at this point, if its anything like my other vortex optics il be more then satisfied. I'm sure there is bigger and better, but for the price and quality you get with vortex it is more then acceptable for hunting.

Scope is great but the customer service is PHENOMENAL! I have dealt with other major manufacturers in the Sportsmens industry including; Benelli, Beretta and Ravin. Nobody's customer service matches Vortex. I was missing some parts and Vortex customer support responded very quickly and solved my issue. I have one other Vortex scope but from now on I will only buy Vortex. People don't realize how important service on a product is until you need it. We live in a world where we just throw things away. I like to fix the things that I have.

very easy to dial in, very clear. however I did have an incident hunting a couple days ago when I was taking aim on a doe, I exhaled and the scope goofed to the point I couldn't even see through it. I use vortex on most of my guns, never had that issue.

This scope was easy to zero and the reticle is great in low light conditions. Only issue is some light blindness when the light conditions are very low (early dawn and late dusk). Can't beat the price on this scope.

Had this scope on a PCP Arrow Gun now for two seasons. Still functions like it just came out of the box. Crystal clear edge-to-edge, holds it's "zero", and no evidence of water intrusion (and it's been out in the rain a lot). Still very happy with this purchase.

I recently decided to begin my hunting season much sooner by getting in during the bow season. I am a beginner to the hunting world of crossbows and could not be happier with the Vortex Crossfire II for my crossbow. The zero-in process was quite easy. I found the process to ID the zoom level adjustments needed for over 40 yards (definitely don't trust myself to shoot that far at a deer yet) to be intuitive and pretty neat. Great glass, reticule, and quality scope. Couldn't be happier.

Once you have it all figured out, it's a really good scope. Very good in low light condition as you would expect from vortex. Cross hair Illumination is super bright. Only downside is, somewhere along the process of sighting in, you will realise that magnification ring will become useless as it double as the FPS adjustment for your specific setup. As most games are taken down under 60 yards, magnification is not much of a big deal but still, magnification become a useless feature ! Which is why à give it 4 stars instead of 5

First off, I love Vortex optics and use them for the majority of my uses. I really wanted to like this scope. It's got great clarity and gathers a fair amount of light in low light shooting conditions. It is what you would expect from Vortex. I've hunted with it for two seasons and taken at least 1/2 dozen deer with it. The problem I can't overcome is the reticle design. Having main cross hairs calibrated to 40 yards Seems like a good idea on paper and works real well on the range. However, more than a few times I've missed high on quick shots because your brain and eye automatically goes to the 40 yard cross hair. Most likely a me problem, but for this reason I've removed it from my trusty Ravin.

Awesome glass and reticle, easy to dial in and don't have to rob the bank to do it. Definitely needed the upgrade.

This is my 3rd crossfire crossbow scope that I own- they are all currently sitting on Excalibur crossbows (Mag 340 & Wolverine). At first, I thought these these scopes had too busy of optics for my eye's, but I was wrong. Once I got it and looked through the eyepiece I was amazed on the clear and bright optics. All three scopes were super easy to sight in and I was hitting quarter size circles at 30 yards in no time. The illumination is very bright- almost to bright on the lowest setting but it will work. The rheostat knob turns very easy with both red & green color. I highly recommend this scope, even over a Hawke.

Overall all it's a great product. The only thing that I would recommend is to upgrade the lens cap. The rear cap constantly came off and eventually I lost it while tracking a deer

The ability to zoom 7 power makes it easy to zero in. The illuminated sites should help in low light. I have not hunted with it yet but as far as I can tell it should work perfectly for all situations.

This is probably the best Crossbow Scope I've seen. Ridiculously clear. Great in low light and easily identify distance and acquire your target.

I purchased this scope in January 2023. Sighted it in in July after watching the video using a Lead Sled. Am leaving for a draw elk hunt in Wyoming tomorrow and 10 days ago in preparation for the hunt shot the bow again but was shooting 4 inches low and had not held zero. I spent about 6 hours trying to figure out the problem but it would should accurately in horizontal plane but vertically as much as 4 or 5 inches high or low. I used a Led Sled the first 3 hours and then off of padded cushions but no difference. I called customer service and phone was answered by a very pleasant young lady and after telling her my story she said they do not recommend sighting in using a Lead Sled as too much recoil force is transmitted to the scope and that may have been the cause of my crosshairs being "jangled" as she put it. Yet their instructional video shows a completely sandbagged crossbow and nowhere in the owners manual is there a caveat regarding Lead Sled. In any case, without any question whatsoever she overnighted me a new scope and I had it within 30 hours of the phone call. I sighted the new scope in using flat cushions for a rest and it is extremely accurate, reproducible and has held its zero. I have a Centerpoint Sniper Elite rated at 370 fps. With this scope zeroed at 40 yards using Barnet 20 inch bolts with 100 grain Magnus Stinger 4 blade fixed broadheads, the 20 yard pin is 3 inches high at 20 yards, 1 1/2 inches high at 25 yards, 1 inch high at 30 yards, and one inch low at 35 yards. With the power ring set at 350 fps ( 3.5X) it shoots bullseyes at 50 and 60 yards. I did not shoot any longer distances as I will not shoot an animal any longer than those distances and probably not beyond 45 yards unless conditions are perfect ie. no wind and solid rest. I gave the rating of 4 stars because of the lack of information on sighting in. Their video actually suggests that rigid sighting is preferable. The scope itself is 5 star and the lighting is impressive.

I bought this to replace a broken scope on a Ravin crossbow. I have always liked Vortex optics and have quite a few so I bought this as a replacement because of my previous experience and the price point being cheaper than the Ravin scope. I really like the 40 yard zero and also the instructions had me start to zero this scope at 6 yards. According to the manual the 6 yard zero is pretty much the same at the 40 yard zero. That worked really well for me and it probably saved me tracking down a few bolts if I had started at 40 yard. So that was really good. The yardage numbers are basically impossible to see, even after adjusting for clarity. Now, if you leave the cap on and use the illuminated reticle you can see them against the dark background and you just have to memorize what each line represents. In a hunting situation you will have to rely on the yardage lines for a quick aim point. The yardage numbers themselves are just very hard to see especially compared to the Ravin factory scope that has easily readable yardage numbers.

I have been looking forward to this scope showing up but couldn't believe how small the numbers were on the yardage markers. The sight picture seems clear but overall im pretty disappointed

Mounted on my Ravin last season to replace failing Ravin scope. Overall, really like the scope and it?s dead nuts on the range. The reticle does take some getting used to thus the 4 stars. You do need to pay attention to close shots since crosshairs zero at 40 yards. When is Vortex going to release a crossbow scope with integrated range finder and ballistic table? That I would buy in a heart beat. What an awesome scope that would be!! Come on guys you have the technology.

Bought this scope as a replacement for the one that came on my crossbow, after mounting using the proper torque, it took only 8 shots before I was hitting the x-ring out to 70 yards!!! Set up and sight in were the ?simple? parts, clarity and the fact that I?m nailing x-rings with ease are the ?excellent? parts. Thank you for making a quality product at a reasonable price!! The picture was my shot at 70 yards.

Put this on my new Wicked Ridge M370 and sighted it in per the user manual with excellent results. Tested at 20, 30, and 40 yards and every shot was in the bullseye. Went to the woods last weekend, but did not see a single deer. Confirmed zero when I shot a de-cocking bolt into the target. I highly recommend this optic based on many factors: application of design, overall quality, and the VIP warranty.

Great upgrade to my Wicked Ridge!

The scope that came with my Wicked Ridge was OK, but this Vortex is outstanding! The glass is super clear and the illuminated optic is perfect. Follow the direction for sighting it in, adjust and tune and you're good to go. My bow is rated at 360 ft/sec. but with heavier hunting bolts I needed to dial it back to 350 ft/sec at 3.5 power and it's perfect for this set up. Hammering the bullseye every time at 40 & 50 yards, couldn't be more impressed with this scope, money well spent!
