Bought few of these extra batteries. One of them didnt last long. Battery level shows 3/4 but wont let me recharge it. Use up all the juice, try to recharge again, nope, doesnt work :(

Receiving superb customer service as I had to exchange this item before it left your store. Customer service has kept me apprised of the exchange process. And so far, very satisfied.

So far I have used it with two of my 750w strobes and I fired off about 60 shots and the battery indicator was still showing a full charge, easy to set up and use and it comes with a spare battery. Im sure you can shoot away all night with this and not have to worry ..

I shot a wedding all day long on a single charged battery. I love it!

I was pleasantly surprised that my battery got fully charged in around 3 hours or less.

Used with Elinchrom moonlights, and have not had any problems getting expected results. I have not counted the amount of flashes compared to the power level of the lights, but have never run out of charge on a shoot with the first battery yet.

Event locations. Batteries charge quickly. Use of one light per unit.

The photogenic ion kit is perfect for on location shoots. I travel pretty light when it comes to on location so this pack works for me. I travel with a couple Hensel 500 ws monolights and rarely use them at full power so this battery kit will allow me to get quite a few pops out of one battery. Having a backup battery is also very crucial. The only drawback is that you can not use a modeling light with this pack. It states that it might short out due to the high capacity. None the less, it's a great addition to my bag.

Simply a lightweight pure sine wave inverter. Very nicely designed and pretty much plug and play. Runs LED's very well but it is not made to run CFL's, well not the ones I have anyway. Do not mistake a "strobe" as including the modeling light. Does fine charging capacitors but wouldn't power modeling lights. (I tried several different brands of monolights Photogenic included. I will try other lamping options in the future.)

Using speedlights is fine. I use them more than any other light source, but with this pac, I had my assistant carry 1 of my strobes with softbox attached to get lighting I could not achieve with speedlight. I shot for several hours and only dropped 2 bars... Im estimating that's about 35% used leaving 65% for the reception that was outside at night.......

The Photogenic Lithium-ion Battery for ION Inverter is able to deliver hundreds or even thousands of full power flashes depending on the flash head in use. For example, Photogenic's 1,000W/s PL1000DR gets 300 full power flashes on a fully charged battery while their AKC160 will get a whopping 2,050 flashes from the same battery. It can be charged within or outside the inverter and accepts 100VAC to 265VAC from an optional charger. Note: requires ION Inverter for use.
