Desktop Authentication Solution
The Belkin F1DN005U contact smart card reader is designed for the needs of a wide variety of secure applications. Compliant with major industry standards including FIPS-201, ISO/IEC 7816, USB CCID, and Microsoft WHQL, the F1DN005U works seamlessly across multiple operating systems and contact smart cards.

Designed for high security applications, the F1DN005U comes in a uni-body enclosure that prevents physical tampering of the electronics and uses only Read Only Memory (ROM) for the firmware. Similar to the Belkin NIAP-certified Secure, an integrated slot can be populated with supplied color chips to visually identify the network the reader is associated with in order to reduce operator error when working across multiple security enclaves.

The wedge-shaped design optimizes ergonomics while allowing the readers to be mounted on a desk, stacked on top of each other, or mounted under the desk with the included premium, double-sided foam mounting tape.
