Worth Every Penny

At first glance this little camcorder can easily be overlooked. One should note the ease of use as the large red button indicates "record". After playing around with the software, I finally realized that "snapshots" were possible: You simply take the snapshot (which is a very high definition still) from recorded video using the program which is installed on the Flip. Great camcorder for the price, I absolutely love it!!!

Great little camcorder

taking this on a college exchange program - its small/light/easy to use - but didn't realize it didn't also have abilty to take stills.

Dead out of the Box

Received this product and according to the instructions, it was shipped partially charged for set up. Out of the box, the Flip wouldn't power up. I then connected it to my computer to recharge it. After the recommended 3 hours, it still would not turn on. Calling customer service was sheer agony trying to communicate with the representative regarding this. Finally fed up, I requested to speak to a supervisor who was extremely helpful in obtaining a replacement item. In addition, the description indicates a TV connector cable is included - it is not however.
