Hahaha! I can't believe my eye with this fine precision instrument!! lol 
I moved up from a diamondback early last summer to this bad boy! The diamondback was great, but this it ruthless! My kids and I even use it to look at the moon! Superb all around! Hoping to invest in the moa reticle one day!

Outstanding

I've used this optic for hunting and surveillance. The quality of the glass gives a nice clean view, and magnification really lets you push out distance. Everything was easy to set up in a matter of minutes. This item is great for people who want to really close the gap on long range items.

Clear view

The mechanics and finish of the scope are first rate. Vortex made a wise decision to use an Arca-Swiss footprint, which makes the scope compatible with a wide-range of great tripod heads. Inclusion of the neoprene body cover was also a pleasant surprise, since most manufactures charge a pretty penny for the same thing.

Optically, the scope is as sharp as its name would suggest. Chromatic aberration is noticeable. However, you would need to spring for something from Kowa or Swarovski to get better results. Also, the eye-box is not particularly forgiving. 

Outside of these quibbles, it's a great scope for the price.

Great Optic

Got the prior model for ~$750 on close-out. Glass is very good. No edge distortion. Depth of field focus at maximum magnification is almost but not quite perfect. Good low light transmission. I like the older two stage focus better than on the current model. Cover/carrying case is a nice bonus. I'd have to spend a lot more $ to move up to Leica or at least Revic to do any better.

This spotting scope has definition I did not believe available in a spotting scope. I can not only pick out a bug on my target at 300 yards I can tell what type of bug it is. 
We do a lot of one mile shooting and this is where the fantastic glass really shines through. We are constantly able to watch impacts at a mile with this spotting scope

I've compared my razor to the diamondback 85mm and there definitely is a difference on image quality but especially in color preservation at long distance. Great scope

While watching wolves in Yellowstone, I compared the Razor HD to other scopes including more expensive scopes. I was impressed how well the HD performed. I preferred it to more expensive scopes from other brands.

I frequently use this spotter for hunting, glassing deer and elk. I also use it as a spotter for long range PRS shooting. Great quality glass and construction. Everything works great. Highly recommend this unit.

Amazing Spotter

I am another drop in a huge bucket of reviews that cannot praise this glass Higly enough.
Amazing clarity beyond 1000 yards. Easy to see strikes on plates beyond that distance as well, with really amazing picture.
Personally, I regret not getting the angled eyepiece, but that's just me.

Amazing

The glass is exceptional on this scope, however I returned it. After years of using a Kowa, which has superior fine focus adjustment, I could not get use to the Vortex "ring" adjustment. I wish I could have because I felt the quality of the glass was better than my new Kowa. Plus, no one has a warranty as good as Vortex.

Vortex Spotting Scope

I used this with the add-on 22x MRAD reticle eyepiece for spotting targets out to a mile. The eye relief is great and it's possible to spot impacts and misses even at that distance. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
