Very easy to use during a photographic sesión. Excellent for product photography and on location jobs.

The Datacolor SpyderCube 3D Cube is good for setting white and black levels. However it is not suitable for setting white balance as faces, white, grey, and black are not neutral and have a visible color cast.

I can't say it's a bad product, but I can't say that it's good either. Maybe I'm not as good at understanding directions as I think I am! I have yet to figure out how to use it correctly. It's very easy to do what the instructions say to do, but I can't seem to get the result that I need. I'm an amateur photographer which could be why I'm having difficulty but I feel I understand Lightroom and Photoshop very well. I have to assume that I'm not understanding what to do. I haven't contacted Adorama for assistance yet so this review is a little unfair to them, but I felt that my initial experience should be noted. The cube is small and lightweight making it easy to transport and is easy to use to capture different lighting. It's only adjusting the photo that is confusing. I would still order the product again with hopes that I will understand it and be able to use it properly.

I like that I can use it anywhere for the most part. It fits in my pocket just in case I forget my gray cards. Also, the smallest gray card I have is 12x12 inches. I do shooting in a white box for small items, so this fits just right.
