It is what it is and does what it is supposed to. Mine was cheap, flimsy but works well to trigger my external flashes.

The sync cord on the original had a lose fit. Sometimes the strobe would fire on its own and other times the strobe would not fire with shutter release. Adorama sent a replacement (thank you very much) and it seems to fit nicely.

The first one I had to return, the second one was not much better at all, slow and often I have to reconnect the cable to make it work. I've had less expensive one that work a lot better

WORKS VERY WELL,FOR SOME REASON DIGITAL CAMERAS DON'T HAVE A PC CONNECTOR EVEN THE D600.SO YOU NEED SOMEWAY OF USING STUDIO LITES AND THE MORE POWERFUL SPEEDLITES. THIS PRODUCT DOES IT WELL.

This is a simple little product that does just one thing, but it does it exactly the way it's supposed to. If you want to trigger strobes with a PC cable and your camera body lacks a PC terminal but has a hot shoe, this will solve your problem. The build quality seems perfectly appropriate for a tool intended only for studio or controlled location work.

Used it to trigger an external strobe that was located off to the side to eliminate reflections. The PC connector fit well, not too loose.

The PC conenction fits tighter in this than the camera jack but still not a very snug connection. But this is the nature of PC plug/jack. This was used on a variety of cameras at a group shoot and while it fits tight in all of the hot shoes, it seemed to be tighter on the Nikon's than Canon's, requiring a bit more force than I might otherwise like to use. But it always gave a reliable connection.
