Each window is powered by a CORIO 2 scaler, offering full Picture-In-Picture (PIP) flexibility. The device supports a wide range of digital and analog formats, including DVI-D resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz and 1080p, as well as analog DVI-A (RGBHV/YUV/YPbPr via optional HD-15 adaptor) resolutions up to 2048x2048 at virtually any refresh rate. Composite Video is also accommodated, ensuring compatibility with virtually all computer signal formats.

The C2-6104A Multiviewer Processor features high-performance de-interlacing with motion-adaptive noise reduction, providing seamless input compatibility with YUV and YPbPr sources such as 525i, 625i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. Custom resolutions can be easily added using the available software, and all settings are stored in non-volatile memory, ensuring they are retained even when power is switched off.

This sophisticated device offers ten user-defined presets, controllable directly from the front panel or external communications, allowing customization of settings for various applications. A built-in LCD and intuitive menu system facilitate quick setup, while functions can be controlled via the front panel Push Buttons, RS-232/ RS-422/RS-485, or Ethernet.

The C2-6104A Multiviewer Processor also features color borders and source labeling for each window, along with four Still Image Stores, each capable of displaying one of ten user-loadable graphic images in place of an input. The fifth input can be used as a background to the four windows, or as a cascade input from another CORIOview unit, thus adding four more windows per unit.

The device integrates fully with the CORIO Tool Suite and most third-party control systems, providing variable zoom up to 10x and shrink as little as 10%, along with full positional controls. Advanced features include Genlock, Chromakey, Lumakey, and Mixing, with the Key Mode allowing any window to be keyed over any other with variable priority/layer control. The unit is housed in a 1RU case with rack mount ears provided, and is powered from a standard 110-240v supply.
