Great scope wish there were more!

These are wonderful scopes in fact I am looking at buying a knock off from Timo just to have another that is even remotely close. In the last few years in the advent of more hand gun hunting and more hunting handgun cartridges than ever before you are dropping the ball when it comes to discontinuing this scope.

I miss Leupold handgun scopes!

Please bring the LER scopes back! While Burris makes an ok scope, it still doesn't match the Leupold product line.

I'd have another

I have one of these on my guide gun; the light weight and simplicity can't be beat. Perfect for short range use in deep woods or brush. Were it not discontinued I'd have two of them.

Bring this scope back!

Leupold takes perverse pleasure in making a great product and then getting rid of it; while making mediocre products forever. There is nothing else like this scope available and to get rid of it...just shows manufacturers don't care about hunters any longer.

A totally awesome scope for

A totally awesome scope for the quality/ price point, very responsive to acquire sight picture with the wide duplex in most light conditions with ample field of view and adequate eye relief. I really love the light weight of the scope Purchased for use for quick shot hunting opportunities at relatively close distance up to 150 yards employing MPBR technique. Used for javelina and feral hogs. Fits the bill perfectly. Any chance of a pig plex reticle in the future. Also, would like to see a 4X or 6X in the ultralight line.

Wish it had more field of view for such a low power and a little less eye relief, but the quality is great.

Compact, lightweight, wide field of view and more magnification than what I need for deer I shoot. For any big game out to 200-250 yards, this is perfect.

These are the best scope

These are the best scope for a hunting rifle that doesn't need a lot of magnification. The last real lightweight rugged fixed scope on the market. This scope is for hunters and backwoodsmen, not PRS. They are very tough and reliable. I wish they were still made with the standard duplex instead of the wide duplex.

Perfect scope for my lightweight muzzleloader

This was the perfect addition to my ultralight muzzleloader. The scope is compact, light weight, and perfect for those shots out to 200 yards.

Great Scope

I handgun hunt a lot and I have 5 of these. I have some of them on heavy recoiling handguns. They just work and they don't loose their zero. The adjustments are precise and the optics are clear. I don't know what else I could ask for from a handgun scope. One may let go tomorrow but as of right now they are perfect.

I'm highly disappointed in Leupold.

I'm highly disappointed in Leupold. I purchased this scope directly from them. When I received it I noticed that the crosshairs were canted and the adjustment assemblies were scratched and marred. Someone had obviously adjusted them carelessly. When I called customer service they told me that I could either send in for repair or wait a year for a replacement (?!) with no acknowledgment or apology that this was obviously a used item. I sent it in and about three weeks later got the scope back with lightly polished adjustment screws and a still canted reticle. Very disappointed.

Excellent product, it will be helpful for my aging eyes which struggle with iron sights. One hunting handgun has a Leupold Delta Point Pro and the other will have this handgun scope, both are .44 magnum Smith & Wesson's.

So far so good. I have only had a chance to mount, zero and confirm, and all is well. This is the first scope that I have put on a pistol, and it has definitely improved my accuracy at 100 yards. The quality is unmatched.

Excellent optic

I don't often find a product that exceeds my expectations. I can say that this scope has. From the light weight, generous eye relief, solid turrets, and clear glass, this scope is a high quality solution that is devoid of useless features. If you're apprehensive about a fixed power scope. Don't be. This one works ????

Excellent clarity and very very very light weight

Ounces lead to pounds and pounds lead to pain, those military types and hikers like to say and that is the main reason I purchased this scope for a hunting rifle. It is light, rugged, and very simple, just point and shoot. I own long range scopes and dot scopes and I have to say, this is one of my favorite. Definitely worth it if you are going to put it on a rifle that kicks. I've been able to get a good sight picture with the scope almost six inches from my eye. Get one!

Perfect scope for a .22LR AR, excellent for other small caliber rifles

2.5 X 20 mm is plenty adequate for .22. Fixed power ( and no batteries!) makes the scope simple, short, and light. The eight inch length doesn't overload my S&W 15-22, and 6.5 ounces keeps the weight balanced. I researched dozens of scopes before I decided on this one, then it took several days to find a place that wasn't out of stock (it must be pretty popular!) The specs on this were 100% perfect for what I wanted, no way I was going to settle for another scope. Add in Leupold's excellent quality, to make it a fantastic scope. I mounted and bore sighted it today, now all I need is better weather.

Best Scout scope bar none!!!

I've been using my FX-ll Scout scope for the last 16 years and it has never let me down while hunting in every condition you can think of. First mounted in a custom Savage .308 Winchester, then for a few years on a Marlin 336 .30-30 Win and for the last few years in my all time favorite rifle: An Steyr Scout in 7mm-08 Rem. It has withstood more than 1000 rounds of high velocity ammo without a single problem in hot weather, humid weather, snow, you name it. Only bad thing is that I can't buy another one to mount on my Marlin Scout .30-30!!!??

Great scope for a lightweight rifle in 300 Win Mag

This scope just the thing for a lightweight rifle shooting a brisk recoiling round. I put this on a Browning BLR in 300 Winchester Magnum. I've shot many rifles in big calibers, up to and including 470 NE. The 300 WinMag is not a serious big bore cartridge with heavy recoil. However, if you are shooting a light rifle in 300 WinMag it will fly back and hit you just as hard as a big bore. And when it does, the riflescope can cut a mean crescent into your brow. The nearly five inches of eye relief provided by this scope prevents that from happening. This lightweight scope adds a minimum amount of weight to your light rifle. The 2.5X magnification is good for any big game shooting within most common hunting distances, i.e. 50 yards to 300 yards,
