This review compares the T16 to a T580 from several years ago. So far, the laptop seems pretty good. Lenovo definitely cheapened the keyboard with lower profile keys and a less positive action -- reminds me of many other laptops. Pretty good but definitely not what one expects from a ThinkPad. Trackpoint seems OK but also lower profile -- maybe I can find a taller trackpoint rubber -- to the point that sometimes when using it I'll inadvertantly press the B, G or H (i.e., one of the surrounding) keys.

Great machine, nothing preloaded to have to remove, bloatware, Functions great out of the box. I decided to upgrade from 16mb, and 500mb SSD and that was also very easy, just create a backup of computer before you start which you should do anyway. My computer is maxed out at 48gb memory and 2TB SSD and is even faster than out of the box. Keyboard layout is good and comes with Cat5 cable connector and number pad that a lot of the compeditors have dropped. Overall no complaints at all.

So far so good. I use it mainly for a lot of browsing (many tabs and windows open simultaneously) and word/excel docs editing. It's heavy, but I don't carry it anywhere. Screen size is big enough to use it without an external monitor. It has two USB and one S and 1 HDMI port. Good solid performance laptop.

I cancelled this order and had it returned to Lenovo because I don't have the money right now, so I can't review it, but I will say Lenovo's customer service is amazing, so much better than Dell's and HP's (I've had really bad experiences with both Dell and HP.) Lenovo rerouted the package and got me my refund very quickly.

Upon receipt of the laptop the speakers made a random crackling noise while no audio was playing. Now they make the crackling noise during audio. Awaiting response on how Lenovo wants to proceed after uploading a video demonstrating the noise.

Had to return it because it just beeped and never turned on. I was quite disappointed. When I called they said the computer was defective and I needed to return it. I wanted to exchange it but they said they didn't have anything to exchange it with. Found that odd since it only sells computers.

The T16 is simply a great machine. I love the OLED display, and the keyboard is the right size for my hands. I have been a long time (15+ years) trackpoint junkie, and love the productivity that this gives me when working on my PC. Great job Lenova. Shipped on time at a great price. The smaller battery chargers make packing for my RV trips easier too!

I am very pleased with my new laptop! It is quite quick and robust, and I had no problems after using it for a month. However, the camera is of poor quality. Whatever settings I tried, nothing improved the camera's quality. It appears to be a camera from 2010. If you don't care about the camera, the rest of the features are excellent.
