81 series pale amber filters are designed to "warm" photos by reducing excess blue. &#149; They are rated in strength on the Kelvin color temperature scale and require minor exposure adjustment. &#149;&#149;&#149;@81 converts light from 3300K to 3200K; requires +1/3 stop.&#149;&#149;&#149;@81A converts light from 3400K to 3200K; +1/3 stop. &#149;&#149;&#149;@81B converts light from 3500K to 3200K; +1/3 stop. &#149;&#149;&#149;@81C converts light from 3600K to 3200K; +1/3 stop.  &#149;&#149;&#149;@81D converts light from 3700K to 3200K; +2/3 stop.  &#149;&#149;&#149;@81EF converts light from 3850K to 3200K; +2/3 stop.

Pretty straight forward filter.  Lee makes great products.  It fits nicely in the filter holder foundation kit.  I've hiked for several miles with it mounted on the camera and there is no slip.
