Good but fix the trackpoint frequent recalibration

Pretty good laptop. Only disappointment is the trackpoint stick frequently recalibrates and the cursor doesn't move in the direction I'm trying to go while its doing that.

Good machine, underpowered memory

The processor is really good. However, the amount of memory is way too low, and we need more memory on the processors. For the video. I went with this unit at the suggestion of the sales rep based on what I was doing. I'm doing primarily AI work and creation, using online systems. There's no real AI generation on my unit. But even for that, it's still memory wise underpowered to handle working with complex processes on internet-based systems. If I had to buy it all over again, I would stay with the same processor, and the unit as a whole, because I really like that. However, I would probably put in 64 of memory to work with the CPU, and then also bulk up the memory on the video driver.

Great Product at a Great Price

Great product for a great price. Does everything I need and a little more. Outside of adjusting from a desk top to the laptop, it's perfect. Ample keyboard and large screen makes it extremely easy to use.

Substandard product, poor customer service

I used ThinkPad laptops for years in the workplace, without problems. Unfortunately, the unit I received for home use was a lemon. I worked with tech support o, within 24 hours of receipt, to mitigate the issues, but they persisted. I initiated the return, and Customer support gave me the runaround on issuing the return label, even though two cases had been established and documented. I had purchased my ThinkPad during Black Friday sales. I don't anticipate that the discounts offered then will apply to the replacement, plus, I'm now quite uncertain that I will receive a replacement that will work any better.

The computer has served me fairly well so far. It came in a timely manner, and I have not had any complaints about it yet. I am a bit annoyed about the McFree virus blocker; We use Avast so I took the McFree off, but it keeps bugging me to reinstall. But other than that, it works great!

It was not what I expected

One side of the pc was not closing very tight and the left touchpad sometimes fail to respond. I have to return it back. The delivery was even longer than expected initially. Apart from these, it seems to be a good performance laptop interms of processor speed though I didn't get the chance to use it longer.

Definitely could be better

It's fine for basic work. I was not impressed with the screen compared to the HP envy x360 I bought that had an OLED screen so I returned the Thinkpad.
