The SPDR features an industry-standard 5 Pin LEMO time code input for simple momentary jamming, and a high-accuracy oscillator for free-running precision that exceeds 1 ppm, ensuring accuracy during long recording days. The high-definition display, identical to the one on the PDR, and a tactile feedback riser on the record button, facilitate easy, eyes-off recording startup.

Control is a breeze with Dweedle tone commands for easy start and stop via the PDRRemote app. The SPDR also boasts an external power input with an internal battery switchover, ensuring uninterrupted recording even in the event of an external power loss.
