I bought this LG 45" monitor on 12-23-24. With it's 240hz and wide view. Games have been more exciting. Quicker response has been a game changer. The picture is clear and remarkable sharp. The lines are spot on with it's 1.5m:1contrast and true black 400 makes the picture come to life. Thank you for such a astonishing monitor.

45GR95QE-B 45"Ultra Gear OLED Easy to set up and start up. Hard to find Support software on LG's website. Best monitor I have ever used.

This monitor is all about immersion. The screen practically wraps around your view and fills your vision. You feel like you're in the game. The color is great and you get OLED contrast and response rate. The high framerate makes for fluid motion.. Gsync works too which helps when you are running something really graphics intensive. You can work on several windows at the same time. Now there are some trade offs. It's a 240hz screen. To get a fast framerate the resolution is 1440p. If you are looking for retina sharp then this monitor isn't for you unless you put it further away from you. At the same time because the image is bigger you can notice fine details that aren't obvious on a smaller screen. All in all, I'm very happy with the monitor and makes a great battlestation.

I bought this monitor going from a 24" 1080p and I just want to say the difference is unbelievable. The immversive experience of this monitor can't be compared to anything else, Thank you LG

screen will randomly black out for several seconds while in use. I have tried many different settings to avoid the issue but none work.

The cons outweigh the pros too much, especially at the price of this monitor. Like others mentioned, text is terrible on this panel. It's worse using HDMI than DisplayPort. Still completely unacceptably bad using DisplayPort. I do regret the purchase and wish I could return it. I've had a few LG monitors and TVs and they were great. This product does not live up to the LG standard of quality that I expect from LG.

Very happy with the purchase. I was in the market for an ultra wide monitor and when I saw this one in person I was sold. Yes the specs. are amazing but what got me were the dimensions, the vertical height on this monitor is like no other. Super easy to install and operate. Very happy with the purchase.

I looked at many reviews of this monitor and decided even though some people said the Pixel rate was to low for such a huge monitor, to get it anyway.. Amazing monitor... my old LG 34"Ultra wide screen had just about the same pixel rate but only 60htz refresh rate. This one is way better. I would suggest get this one if it is on sale.

This monitor is excellent for Sim Racing. I use it as a single monitor setup for iRacing. Initially considered 49" models, but the extra height of this monitor significantly enhances the experience. Pros: Curved screen, High refresh rate, Great price (got it on sale), Easy to mount on my sim rig Cons: None so far

I got this monitor as a early bday gift and have been loving it. Right out of the box the panel needs a pixel cleaning for the banding for oled products, but they were gone instantly and been seeing no problems with it afterwards.

This monitor is next level. I have been using 32'' 1440 monitors (both flat and 1800R curved) for over 8 years. I am primarily a simmer between DCS and MFS20. I have been eyeing the Corsair Flex for some time, but the price (even on sale) has been just too much to justify. I never really gave this monitor the time of day as I thought the 800R curve would be too much for sim games. Nevertheless, this went on sale for $1099 and I took a chance. I say now, this has been the best upgrade purchase I have ever made for pc. This monitor totally transforms the interface between you and the pc. Totally immersive. Not VR immersive, obviously, but next best thing imo. I was little skeptical as many reviewers were losing their minds over the resolution. Totally overblown. If you're running 4K then go to this, I can see you having an issue but at normally viewing distances it's just not an issue for me albeit I did make some mac type font tweaks and that did make text a lot better. When I first turned the monitor on my heart sank. This is the first OLED I have used. There where pixel lines all over the screen and cloudy blotches everywhere. I did some research and apparently this is normal and just had to run pixel cleaning a few times to clear it up. Then I did some fast-moving game play for a few hours and the picture got better and better. (see photos before and after) So, if you experience horrible picture quality out of the box do not worry it will get better with use. So, after a couple weeks of use I can say this monitor was worth the money...I did get a little ticked off that the price dropped to $999 a couple days after I purchased and before delivery...LG would not entertain any price adjustment and told me to return it and repurchase...which I prob would have done if the price difference was more than $100 but it just wasn't worth my time for $100. I will say LG could have gotten points with me if they made it right rather than being happily dismissive. I can see if the product was delivered already then the price dropped but it literally was in the process of being shipped - they could have done something. Next time I will just use Amazon as I did not see any benefit buying directly through LG and I would probably get it quicker to boot. But this has nothing to do with the actual monitor itself so 5 stars it is. Super impressed.

Just bought mine. It looks great, playing the PS5 or PC on it. No pixel issues or weird distortions. The stand is more sturdy then I thought it would be and doesn't wobble when the dogs wrestle and bump into the desk.

I enjoy this monitor a lot, but the HDR sometimes goes too dark and I have to reset it. Is there any reason this monitor would not be showing HDR certified?

Bought this few months ago. First panel went out. LG set up an at home replacement for it to be fixed. Free of charge. Thankfully. Not sure if they'll do that for every product. However, this is a 1700$ panel and less than 30 days of time it went out. Glad they corrected the issue.

I'll start with the cons, since LG customer service doesn't seem to have a solution: 1. This is advertised as VESA True Black Certified, but Windows 11 doesn't recognize this. LG rep said this could be due to needing a driver update. Problem is that LG still hasn't provided any updates whatsoever for this monitor. Neither firmware or driver. So right now, this is false advertising. LG rep couldn't answer as to why this is after months of this monitor being released. 2. An LG rep said this should go up to 1000 luminance, but if you use the Windows HDR calibration, it clips right around 570. Way short of supposed brightness. (You start to see why I'm bothered that there hasn't been a firmware update). 3. The headphone jack has a horrible hiss. I've tried with different headphones, and it's almost unusable. 4. This is minor, but you see it all the time, so it's glaring that LG has an obvious grammar error. The image cleaning notice says "Do not unplug the power during this function is running". It should be: "WHILE this function is running." 5. Font clarity is just not good. Why refresh a product if you're not going to update it with your latest sub-pixel layout? 6. There's a bit of a buzz coming from the fan. Now for what I do like about the monitor: 1. SDR brightness might be the brightest out of all the current 27" OLED monitors out right now. 2. No annoying noticeable ABL 3. Image and pixel cleaning are unintrusive. 4. Fairly accurate/natural colors and can get bright enough for HDR. 5. Matte coating is better than expected, but I'd still prefer if it's just more like their TV matte. 6. The remote is convenient 7. Design is simple and not tacky "gamery"

Excellent except font rendering could definitely improve. The image cleaning pop up also has a grammar error, which is an odd oversight. It should say "while this function is running" instead of "during this function is running". A couple of the picture settings are also grayed out, and I hope LG unlocks them. The monitor itself is nice and bright, barely noticeable ABL or VRR flicker, fast response/input even at lower refresh rates, and the design itself is clean and minimal. I wish LG would've put a semi glossy coating, but the matte one here isn't bad at all. This was a good buy and I haven't ran into any functional issues at all.

This monitor looks great, the blacks are inky and the colors pop. Things to note for LG perhaps as an update, which would be ideal: its time for oled to abandon the sample and hold method if displaying images and switch to a rolling scan. 240hz is nice, and I can get a few games to hit that, but I still have crt at my desk and the crt still looks cleaner when things get moving. This monitor is still better than an lcd screen, but the crt continues to dominate. Ive also had to send the monitor back for a repair and may have to send it back again due to a new issue it didnt have before I sent it in. LG oled tvs have a form of black frame insertion to improve motion clarity and it is not present on this monitor to my knowledge, which this monitor would benefit from in gaming. as well as reduce burn in as the bfi or rolling scan would have the monitor not as "on" as long. Other monitors have these features at similar prices, so Im a bit disapointed that despite LGs long experience with oled tvs, that this did not carry over to their monitors, and that companies new to oled are doing a better job. Again, my issue could be resolved as an update. A rolling scan, or bfi would elevate this monitor and really all of their monitors. If brightness is an issue, let it be something the user can enable and adjust in a buried menu option. Oleds are best in darker rooms anyways. Outside of all that, the lights behind the monitor arent distracting and actually help illuminate my desk without making it bright. Very useful when I need to look for something without needing to turn on any lights, and not distracting at all when gaming or watching content. Cant even tell its on when normal lights are on. Havent tried the headset jack on it, but it is nice to have there when testing things since I wont have to get to the back of my pc. The menu gives you a lot of control when not in hdr, but you can still adjust a few things when in hdr, and the remote thing is kinda neat but not ideal when you have desk clutter as it is or an lg tv in the room lol. Though it does feel more enjoyable than using a little joystick. Overall, this monitor shines when you can feed it right. For the first time it made me turn down my settings in enlisted to minimum so I can hit 240hz, and it is very smooth. Alan Wake 2 shines at 60 hz with the settings turned up too. I havent tried retro gaming because of the issues I mentioned, but anything from the 360 and up will probably be nice. Honeslty oled is great, but just do your reading to take care of it and it will last you a while and its going to be without peer as a display format for a while as well. Its not cheap, and until they address my needs, I suggest getting their oled tvs instead for a display.

I bought my monitor a few weeks ago and it's worked amazingly. During the day I use the monitor for work (software engineer) and evenings/weekends for gaming. The screen real estate is awesome. Having a bigger screen doesn't make me better at work, but it makes me more productive. I've already seen an increase in productivity having a larger screen. From a gaming perspective, this is truly an immersive experience. If you're someone that plans on using this monitor for work and need extreme clarity (and I mean very extreme) like photoshop or video editing, then you are probably better off with an IPS-type monitor.

Owned since November and it's an awesome display. Also love the inclusion of an optical port for audio. Really simplified my setup. Remote has spoiled me and now I don't think I want another display that doesn't have the remote function as well. Gaming feels really responsive as well and the OLED care features are really appreciated.

I love this monitor. Nothing better than an OLED. Do wish it was a bit brighter like my G3 TV but it still gets the job done beautifully.

This is a great monitor and the OLED is what we needed. We use this on the bridge of a ship where we need black to be off at night for minimal light pollution. So, for that, it's great. But after only a couple of weeks we've got noticeable burn in. And these monitors don't have any options that I can find to turn on things like pixel shifting. Which is why I can only give it 3 stars. Every tv has these options so they're not hard to add. And gaming isn't the only reason someone buys these.

After reading several awesome reviews about this moniter, I bought it approximately 1 month ago from Best Buy, just to see if all the hype was real, well I'm very glad to say it was and I'm really glad that I bit the bullet and bought it.

amazing monitor! i am running an RTX 3090 which i dont think would get me the frames i want in 4k, so the OLED ultrawide was the next best thing. I see some reviews that say text is pixelated. Honestly, unless your face is right next to the monitor, i havent noticed that at all. i mostly use the monitor for gaming anyhow, and the immersion, refresh rate, color quality and contrast are beyond any monitor ive played on. I previously had a 42" 1440p, and this is a massive and worthwhile upgrade. highly recommend.

I've had this monitor for a little over a month and a half now and I can say with full confidence this is by far the best monitor I've ever had. The OLED 800r curve is truly mesmerizing. I'm looking to already upgrade to the new version.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Running RTX3090 and thought this would be a good fit (instead of 4K) so I can still get decent frames. Just getting into sim racing, and the immersion on this monitor is incredible! It is honestly a bit disorienting at first, but once you get used to it, there is no going back. Shooters, racing, RPG games? all look fantastic. I wouldn't say the pixelation is as bad as others say, but it's definitely not as good as 4K. Still, the OLED is nice and colors look great, curve works well. All around good package.

This monitor is everything I could have ever wanted. People complain about the Matte finish but I think it adds character to the display while still getting the inky blacks and awesome hdr support. However I mostly play rhythm games and thought that the almost 0 latency for pixels would be great, which it would be if the display wasn't tearing all the time! At first I was using the monitor with hdmi 2.0 which locked me at 144hz 1440p (I had to use this because my PC was not functioning and played on my laptop) I figured that the hdmi was the reason g sync was not working so I was very excited to get my PC back and running and use display port. I was able to get 240 hz with the DP cable but the screen tearing was still a mess! Turns out there is still no official driver support for g sync! I've owned this monitor for 6 months now! Ya'll still advertise g-sync support when really it should be "g-sync coming eventually" Really upset I can't get all the features this monitor provides :(

Absolutely stunning. Ignore the hater that is complaining about a Matte Screen. Yes, it does hinder how the screen looks but it still looks better than IPS! The peak brightness is a bit low, so it doesn't shine in very bright rooms, however, it DOES shine in little (Ring Lights or LED Lighting if you're streaming is perfect!) to No light rooms (When you're just hanging out in the dark). It's fantastic. The colors are beautiful. The input lag is nearly non-existent. The response time is ...

This is the first 27 inch oled monitor so it has a lot to live up to. At this point I've honestly used every monitor and oled tv you could think of. Oled technology is absolutely the best display technology on the market. Sadly, until now the only option was ultrawide, or a 42 inch display. This monitor kills it in every department, it's extremely fast, colors are vivid, the remote is great, the osd is fast and smooth, and it works great with pc and consoles. My only few complaints are it's n...
