I bought this pj one year before from cochin and it is nicely replaced my TV. I using this in my living room and very satisfied with this prodect.

I was looking for a best projector and was going through amazon. I have seen few Chinese projectors and tried it. I didn’t like any one of them, so I decided to get a branded one. I came across this projector in one of the reviews in YouTube and went for it. One of the best decision I have made in recent times going with a lg projector. I believe this has one of best pictures out there for a 1080p,comparing it to my old 1080p lamp based model, which has a great picture in itself, with the Lg I can make out scars and wrinkles much better on the LG. Other than the picture quality the software is not too great, its ok but when choosing menus items sometimes its just takes way to long before it finally opens . All in all I was on the fence with this one as far as keeping it, however the picture quality alone is what made me decide on this one and not go for a 4k model. I also like the fact that I can connect my Bluetooth head set to this and not have to connect to the other devices that are connected to it, so just one device for Bluetooth is great. The sound on the speaker is great to me as with my old one was not even considered volume up on my old would result in crackly unusable sound. For me the lack of Apps and latency with the menus is not good, however the quality of the picture and cost compared to a current 4k projector is way worth the sacrifice.

Saw this LG projector on Costco's website, and when I read the laser lamp was rated for 10,000 hours I wanted to try it. I seldom used my previous projector, because I was always trying to prolong the life of the expensive lamp. This LG projector is 2,000 lumens, which is considerably brighter than my previous projector's 750 lumens. It's not movie theater bright, but with the blinds closed it does an admirable job. The reviews said this projector does not reproduce true shades of red, rather they are on the orange side, which I have noticed, but it's not distracting. All and all this is a nice projector.

After months of research ,I decided to purchase the LG - HF80JA projector. There are hardely any reviews about this projector. Very happy with this Laser projector. For the price point and all the awesome specs, It is by far the best option for HD 1080p Laser projector. The size is compact but produces a bright vibrant picture. I have this in a dedicated theater room to replace an aging Infocus Screen Play 7200. I absolutely love the WEBOS feature and the ability to cast from my android phone and computer wifi direct. The webos works perfectly fine if you dont keep hitting the enter button

Right out of the box I was all setup to go in less than 20 minutes,,, TV Scanning, my network NAS. My first projector so can't compare with anything. I do have one complaint, I was hoping I could watch SlingTV... but no SlingTV,,, bummer. LG, how about adding SlingTV?
