Macintosh S : Is this bulb available in 5600K?ANDREW R : No. All quartz-halogen bulbs emit light in and around the 3000k range.
Shopper : Which lamp is better to use in a Lowell Tota light for lighting works of fine art for photographic reproduction: FCZ Studio Lamp 500w 120v or FDN Studio Lamp 500w 120v ? I see that one of them lasts longer, but are there other issues to consider? Thanks in advance, MarkANDREW R : Much will depend on you manner of reproduction. If you're capturing digitally (say with a DSLR, for example) either will be useable, you'll just need to set a custom white balance to ensure best color fidelity. If using film (tungsten balanced) the FDN is a better choice due to the color temperature.
