a lot for a little

One thing important is the DP connection IF your looking for image, I use the B.T.2100 color file and 7500k temperature and get absolute whites, impossible with standard windows color. People pay a lot to get this in oled. easily edit average photos into pro like. Add vesa 600 and contraast 3000:1. More features than the competitor, but if your a gamer you will need more speed.

Best for the money conclusion

Nothing has a more signicant picture improvement (IMO) unless one goes to Oled types, costing 5x or more. I cannot settle for 2000:1 contrast after having 3000:1. BUT if your a gamer youll need a faster monitor which may be lacking in 1 or 2 specs, hard to have it all and a low price.

So many options

If you understand how to navigate your image settings for the monitor, your GPU, windows, resolution, refresh rate, color icc profiles, color temperature, gamma, you can get 100% outstanding results this monitor is capable of. What a bargain. I

Issue with USB-C connection with Mac

I got this monitor a year back and then in few months it started flickering when connected to my mac using USB-C. I have sent it twice for repair and the issue was not fixed. Now it is sent for the 3rd time. Communication is that it is sent to returns department for resoultion. It has been 1 month and still no response after multiple follow ups. Would not suggest buying this monitor if you are looking for USB-C connections.

Very regret?.

I bought 3 of these monitors and so regret! One of them completely gon black and sent to warranty almost a month ago and still waiting. And the other two also have similar problem. The screen flickers and goes black time by time for about 10-15 seconds. Especially if you are in a meeting or gaming, you basically have nothing on your screen for a while. When i search online, i actually noticed that so many people having same issue with these monitors. This was first time I was tryinG LG but for sure it will be the last time. Never recommend it. These monitors unfortunately took the whole LG image down for me and i will probably skip thos brand for future for any electronic item for good.

15 years software enginner and this was the worst

I have 3 of these monitors. As a software engineer, I tried different monitors in years, but this was the only brand-model I said ?Dear God?.. i wish i can get rid off them..? check online and you will find thousands of posts with exact same issue with these monitors. Screen goes black, 10 seconds later comes back. Randomly. Very annoying. And yet LG does not even accept it at first. You send it to them, it takes 4-6 weeks, they say it is fixed but boom same issue again? anyways, they are all in mint condition visually and I would sell them to half price if someone makes an offer.

Constant Blackout with DisplayPort over usb-c

The monitor blacks out every so often when connected to my computer with DisplayPort over usb-c. Its pretty annoying when working. Its fine over HDMI it seems.

Potentially great but screen goes black on MacBook

I have this display plugged in via the USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 to a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018) running macOS Big Sur (11.6.1) and the monitor goes black/off for several seconds and then comrd back on. It does this a couple times of day and is annoying. I have my headphones plugged into this monitor too and they stop working when the monitor blinks out. I want to like this monitor but hard to give a good review because of this problem. I do not use this for gaming or video so I am tolerating these black outs but I want it fixed.

Great 4K Workstation Monitor

I work in 3D building design and this monitor is great for the large, but detailed view I like when I?m drawing. It?s also good looking enough that my girlfriend doesn?t mind me having such a large monitor. The usb C connection is great if you use a laptop. I quickly swap out after work by unplugging one cable from my work laptop and putting it in my personal. I just leave the mouse and keyboard dongles in the monitor?s built in USB hub. On the side I use it with my xbox series X and it makes games look great. I can?t speak to the color accuracy, I don?t do color accurate work, but games like the Witcher 3 look stunning on this monitor.

I got a Lemon - but I will try another one

Like everyone even LG can make a mistake! I have a 38" curved LG, and am very ghappy with it. So I got a 32" Flat for my MacBook: - It shuts off intermittently, with Netflix - it makes gurgling sounds, etc. - Easiest thing was to return the unit to Amazon and get my money back - T did not want to wait another 2 weeks to get the newer unit so I called LG service. - LG service was good - Case # CNN210517670516 - They termed the unit as faulty and made a recommendation to their business unit - who would make a decision in 5 "Business" days. - After about 10 gays - Taylor pinged me on Cell and email that they would like to refund me the money I paid - which was fair. - I may look to buy another LG monitor - since I like their USB-C/Thunderbolt options. They are very helpful in the MacBook world...

blacks out for no reason

It's a great screen, excellent quality, but it blacks out for no reason at all. Just a second or two, or four that the screen goes blank, the sound goes of. Sometimes you can watch a movie on this screen without problems, but as many times it will black out a couple of seconds. This is no fun watching the Lord of the Rings and having to rewind every now and then. Also, when gaming, no fun to die because your monitor blacks out. It is as if the screen is without electricity for a couple of seconds. Video below shows a blackout after 12 seconds.

Terrific Image, Great Software & Firmware Support

I wanted to upgrade to a good quality 30" - 32" monitor and after research selected the LG 32UL7500W. I do general business work, personal photo editing watch some videos and normal personal computer work. I do not do any video games. I am using the unit with a 8th gen i7 chip through a USB C cable and a Thunderbolt hub. I've had it for two weeks and it has terrific image, color, software control, the ability to perform firmware updates and has good energy savings features. The unit responds very well to re-awaking and startup. Once the setup on my desk was completed and connected to power it started up without any problems. I connect the unit with a USB-C cable. Once internet was available, the monitor checked with the LG Support website, alerted me to On Screen Control software which I downloaded and it also alerted me to a firmware update available which I scheduled and installed. All went smooth. I very much like the unit and i very much like the LG support system. I can recommend this without reservations. On a side note, I use the unit's internal speakers with a pass through to external speakers and the sound is terrific.

Great picture - when the screen isn?t going blank

Pro: - size - price - image quality - built in USB hub - speakers Con (a big one) Screen randomly blanks out several times a day. Only lasts for a couple of seconds each time, but this is totally unacceptable. Issue has happened with two different computers (MacBook Pro and Mac mini) using both USB-C cable and HDMI. Read the online reviews. This is not an isolated problem and LG seems to be well aware of the issue. Keep your box and packing material - I just shipped my monitor back to LG to diagnose and repair (hopefully). I expect it back in a few weeks.

Disappointed

I picked up two of these and they both have issues. They both randomly go blank and Audi cuts out for a few seconds. Happens multiple times a day, I experience this with my MacBook plugged in as well as with my desktop (Windows) plugged in, so it’s not a computer issue, it’s a problem with the monitors. Also, these sit side by side and the colors are WAY off between the two. Trying to calibrate via picture settings or color temperature in the monitors menu is not possible as those menu options are grayed out. Returning and never buying LG again.

Monitor blacks out several times and can't wake up

Just bought this several weeks ago but monitor blacks out several times a day and now it can't wake up automatically. The worst is, I can't turn it on when my MacBook Air M1's lid is closed.

Incompatibility issues with DisplayPort

I already have an older model LG 4K 31” monitor. Very happy with it. The new 32” has been a disappointment. The same DisplayPort which works on the old resets the display settings at 100% brightness. All other display settings are greyed out. The replacement did the same. The hdmi port does not have this issue. Also the new model can only be tilted. No height adjustment.

Stunning Picture!

Bought this for a new Mac mini. I use the HDMI connection, and the performance has been rock steady--no blackouts. Later I connected my Playstation 4 Pro via the second HDMI port, and gaming in 4K is equally stunning. Even the built-in speaker works great with the PS4. Completely satisfied with the monitor.

Sufficient With Setbacks

I bought the monitor a year ago and after a few months had to send it in for repair due to the connection between the monitor and Mac Book constantly kept getting lost. I sent it in and they sent it back and it still has the same issue. I've changed the USB-C cable as suggested and the issue still persists. When it works it's fine and when it blacks out it's frustrating. I called again and again and there is nothing to be done.

Screen blacks-out for 2-5 seconds often...

I have been using this for a year now and more recently with a newer Macbook 2020 connected via USB-C. The screen often blacks out for 2-5 seconds and I noticed several others have reported the same problem. I wish LG acknowledges the issue and clarifies the resolution strategy for this.

Would've been a great monitor if not for blackouts

I purchased this monitor earlier this year as I moved to remote work mode and was happy until the blackouts started happening. Should've done my research before buying this. I usually have great experience with LG products except this one. Wish LG could have done better QA on this product

The blackouts are really annoy

Given a 4k monitor with USB-C support, this is a great monitor. The colors are great when you look straight onto the monitor. However, when you look at certain angle, the colors will gray out! But I guess this is tolerable given the price range and 4K support. I hook this monitor onto my work macbook pro for work where I process a lot of thinking flow. When I am in the train of thought and the blackouts suddenly interrupt my thinking and I get quite upset about it. I am using the USB-C cable coming along with the monitor. I saw some other comments related to the cable.

Great colors, not too crisp

Easy to setup. The colors look pretty good, lots of settings to get to the color you want. But the text doesn't look very crisp. I have an old 27" 4k Dell monitor that does a better job reproducing text. Does anyone know what the best way is to connect it to a 2019 MacBook Pro? HDMI/USB-C/DP?
