If fits nicely in one lower side pocket. The other pocket holds my Nikon SB-600 flash, straps, charger etc. There is ample room for other supplies, along with lunch. Shopper : Is the tripod sling included or is it sold separately?ASHFAQUESHAFIQUE A : included.ALAN R : Yes, the pieces to attach the tripod are included. There is a small pouch that clips on the bottom of the bag into which two feet on the tripod are placed. Then there is a thin strap which is inserted through loops near the top of the bag and the top of the tripod is tied back against the bag with this strap.

I'm very happy with this backpack

I bought this for a recent trip to Zion National Park and the Page AZ area where I was doing a lot of hiking and photography with a friend's son. I think it is a quality, well-made item. It was a tight fit but in it I carried: Nikon D800 + Nikkor 14-24, Nikkor 28-300, Nikkor 16mm, Oly E-M1 + 12-40mm Pro, MetaBones adapter, Garmin GPSMAP 64st, filters, phone, wallet, small lens cleaning kit, granola bars and the water bladder from a Camelbak in the laptop slot where it fitted perfectly. I found it to be comfortable and had no issues with it.
