What sets the MuXLab HDMI 4x8 & 8x8 Matrix Switches, HDBT, PoE apart is their ability to switch or distribute up to 4 or 8 HDMI sources to as many as 8 remote displays. This is achieved through the use of HDMI or unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables, offering a cost-effective solution for connectivity.

The Matrix Switch is designed to work seamlessly with MuXLab's HDMI Receiver models 500451-RX, 500454-RX, or 500454-POE-RX. It supports HDMI 3D and can extend UTP/STP for 1080p Deep Color up to 230 feet (70 meters) via Cat 5e/6 UTP/STP cables.

This device is equipped with single modular RJ45 jacks and supports HDMI input with a resolution of up to 1080p. It also supports HDBaseT output and offers configurable EDID settings. The device's firmware is field upgradable, ensuring it stays up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.

For ease of use, the Matrix Switch features a touch pad on the front panel for manual control. It also offers device control over HTTP protocol and RS232 and USB CDC control. The 2U rackmount unit is HDCP 1.4 compliant, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

Please note that the 500451-RX model does not support RS-232 and PoE functionality.
