4 Issues, 1 of them minor
I have 3 issues with my MSI GE73 Raider 17.3" Full HD 120Hz Gaming Notebook Computer, Intel Core i7-8750H 2.2GHz, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 8GB, Windows 10 Home, With MSI True Gaming Level 2 Loot Box:
1) The trackpad is awful. Nuanced movements are just not possible. It is not possible to direct the mouse cursor with fine movements. The pointing accuracy is just horrendous.
2) Pushing the screen away from the laptop body causes it to "pop" the body at the left edge where the fan exhaust is located. It is as if a clip has broken or doesn't hold tight enough.
3) A minor issue is that my number 5 key in the numeric pad is stuck on the color blue regardless of what color scheme I use.
4) Speaker loudness could be better. Bass notes tend to vibrate the chassis and make an annoying buzz at volumes above 80%. The quality of the sound isn't that bad though.
I have been seriously contemplating returning the laptop for the trackpad issue. It is seriously just that bad of an experience. I've used this laptop daily for the past 4ish months. If you don't mind the issues that I've outlined, this is an otherwise quality laptop at a nice price.

Gaming Beast!
Turned out to be a fastastic gaming machine. Any new game so far has been able to run at max settings 1080p 60fps. Very happy with my purchase.
Has cool steelseries rgb features, 17" 120hz smooth display, no issues with cooling, big high quality speakers.
Battery life is almost non-existant though, so only consider this for plugged-in gaming.

I really like this MSI GE73 Raider laptop
I really like this MSI GE73 Raider laptop. Except the track-pad/touch-pad is very bad. There is no precision. It does not respond to small movements and will even stop the cursor from moving if you slow down but continue to move your finger across the pad. This is infuriating behavior. Additionally, the material that the pad is made from is not conducive to allowing your finger to move across the surface smoothly. Especially when moving your finger slowly. Your finger "chatters" across the pad. It behaves as if it is has a sticky substance on it. I have never encountered this in any laptop that I have ever used before. Laptops that I've had 8, even 10 years ago work better than this. I'm simply dumbfounded about this. I would return it but for the rest of the laptop is pretty much great. Only thing is the speakers aren't loud enough for me, nor contain enough bass. But, I am very spoiled on this as my previous laptop, a Dell XPS L502X had the best sound from 2011.

Build quality is awful
I had previously purchased an MSI refurbished and had an issue with the hinge. I assumed this was because it was used and purchased a new one at full price.
Through normal use over 2 months, I went to close the laptop today and the hinger and the base came apart.
Very, very unhappy with the build quality and will never buy an MSI laptop again.

New Gaming Rig
This MSI GE &# Raider gaming laptop is outstanding. Although I having loaded any games yet, the video and audio are both impressive, just surfing the web. My only complaint so far is
having to learn Windows 10 (been using Win 7 up to now).
Looking forward to some real gaming soon.

great gaming laptop for VR
This laptop has great graphics card and great processor that is perfect for a VR system. Also work well as a good work laptop because of the overall power of the system.
