Too slow to qualify

It's possible to get some interesting looks from this plugin, but it is so, so, so very slow. Painfully slow. Almost unusably slow. I was even just using presets on a still, and it would take an eternity to actually apply the effect. Trying to adjust any of the settings requires an additional extremely long allotment of time, which makes exploring beyond the defaults impractical. In fact, I turned the effect in a layer in After Effects, searched out reviews for it, and as I have typed all of this out, it still has yet to apply. I'd say the juice is simply not worth the squeeze. Maybe someday they will update it to address this. There is no reason at all for anything to be this (effect just applied) slow in 2020 on a modern hi-specced machine.
