Charges and controls 8 Slots Independently
The i8 can charge 8 batteries simultaneously. which is time-saving and efficient.
Active Current Distribution, Fasten charging speed
The ACD technology allows the i8 to actively distribute its power among 8 slots in an orderly manner. For instance, when a battery is almost fully charged, the charger will divert a portion of its current to charge other batteries.

Automatic Detection on Power Level and Selection of Charging Mode
After batteries installation, the i8 automatically detects power level of batteries and selects the appropriate voltage and charging mode.
dV/dt charging function
The -dV/dt function specifically for Ni-MH and Ni-Cr batteries, which can detect the battery status and judge the timing to terminate charging, aims to charge Ni-MH and Ni-Cr batteries as full as possible but not overcharged.
Reverse Polarity Protection and Short Circuit Protection
If there are batteries inserted with polarity reversed or short-circuited, the red indicator of the relevant channel will blink quickly to notify users.
Battery Activation
The i8 is capable of activating depleted Li-ion batteries with a protective circuit. After battery installation, the i8 will test and activate the battery before charging.
Overtime Prevention
The i8 has overtime protection. It will individually monitor the elapsed charging time for each battery slot and if a particular slot exceeds 20 hours, the i8 will automatically stop charging and the green power indicators will illuminate to indicate completion of the charging process. This feature reduces the risk caused by batteries of lesser quality.
Safe Mater
i8 is constructed from flame retardant and fire resistant PC materials aiming to extend the lifespan and ensure safety.
Authenticity Identification by Type G Plug Sign
Customers can identify the product authenticity by observing whether if there is a Type G Plug Sign on the packaging box.
Validation to Guarantee Authenticity and Safety
On all authentic Nitecore chargers package boxes, there are a 16-digit validation code and a validation QR code.
