New NETGEAR Nighthawk
I like my new Netgear cable modem router, but was only disappointed in the documentation. It could've been clear in a few areas that would've meant shorter set up time.

AC 1900 modem touter

Stable Internet Connection
I've finally decided to get my own modem with a router after a year of renting one from my internet provider. I've been experiencing issues with very low Mbps and an unstable connection. So far, the Nighthawk has been performing well. It's a good investment!

NETGEAR Nighthawk Good Review
The NETGEAR Nighthawk was a fairly simple device to set up; I just had to download the app and follow the steps, and I was able to get it done fairly quickly. I am a college student, so this helped me out greatly during move-in day. The wifi has not had any issues since we set it up, and I am looking forward to continuing to use this product.

My Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Cable Modem Router is working well. I like having the modem and router in one unit. Prior to making this purchase I had two separate items, a modem and a router. The old router failed, and I replaced them both with the Netgear unit. The installation was difficult for me. I had to call tech support, and the process took an afternoon. The support person was helpful, but between the phone connection and her foreign accent I struggled to understand her.

Works great!
Initially couldn't get NETGEAR tech to get set-up. However, my cable provider got things working for me. Everything seems to be working well, no pausing or distorted viewing anymore. Less clutter in having one product instead of 2.

Substantially better performance
Upgrading to the Netgear Nighthawk modem-router combo has completely transformed my internet experience-it truly feels like a night-and-day difference compared to the reused router that was issued by my internet service provider. With the old router, I was constantly battling slow speeds, lag during online activities, and the frustrating buffering of streaming services. Those problems are now a thing of the past.
The Nighthawk has far exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and reliability. The speed and consistency it delivers are remarkable. Whether I'm streaming in high definition, gaming online, or running multiple devices at the same time, the connection remains strong and smooth without interruptions. Pages load instantly, videos stream flawlessly, and downloads finish much faster than before.

So far so good
Had a C6900 since 2017, worked fine till August 2025 when it got fried thanks to a horrendous lightening. Got the C7000 now, working well so far for two weeks. Hope this lasts.
