Extremely helpful

When I called because Internet was not working, they were able to reconnect and explain about your policy. If not working by the end of the phone call there would be no charge. The gentleman got it working quickly, and I was very appreciative I am 76 years old and he was easy to communicate with.

Doesn't last

I bought this modem 2 years ago and it just completely failed. It doesn't transmit signal so I had to throw it away. Netgear would not provide any warranty coverage since it was bought over 1 year ago. Pretty crappy that this machine didn't last longer.

Works fine in bridge mode.

I'm using the C7100V in bridge mode to supply modest speed 300/20 Xfinity internet to my eero mesh network. It works great in that capacity. No hiccups yet or downtime. No complaints here.

Internet Reliable, but Phone Not

The internet portion of the router/gateway has been reliable so far, but several times I try to make a phone call, and have no dial tone. I reset the router and it fixes it, but this is very annoying. It's happened twice in the last 3 days.

Very simple install

The Netgear app was required to install and properly use the router. After that, it was simple and I have using the router with now issues. It can easily use over 10 devices and stream in 10k.

Connection speed and range

Very pleased with my modem/router

I purchased my Netgear modem 4 years ago. I have xfinity/Comcast service and got tired of paying them an extra monthly fee for the use of their modem. The hookup was extremely easy to do. The directions that came with this product had specific directions for use with our xfinity service. This year the modem had a glitch and we were not able to get it working. I called the Netgear 800 service number and after persistence by the Netgear representative our issue was solved. Since the warranty was long past I did pay for the help I received. That happened 2 months ago and it's still working. This modem has saved me $$ over the last 4 years.

Easy to setup. What took the longest was registering with internet provider. Able to connect multiple devices. I did have trouble getting my printer online. Figured it out. The app was helpful in registering my product and monitoring what devices are online. Great product and would recommend to others. Thanks

Best 3-1 Router on the Market!

This router not only displays the highest quality, but allows me to have cable, WiFi, and phone services all through one router. Most other routers only provide one or two of those three services requiring you to have to purchase two separate modems, which is not ideal. Having all services run through one modem is much more efficient. This modem also has a very sleek look.
