I reopened the router I got from my cable company and connected my netgear. Wow? I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Works so much better without the glitches. I wish I would have done this sooner. I'm happy with it!

Having a lot of lag and it's not my internet as it's 1gbps. Using cat 6 cord, but I'm thinking this isn't doing the best job. It's great when it's working but a pain when it's not and I have to restart it.

I love the speed and the reliability, I have no problems other than these, the plug is very loose in the plug in of my power strip so if it gets hit just wrong the whole thing restarts and it seems to take forever to restore the connection. Everything else is fantastic!

Bought this and installed. Got it registered with my ISP on my 1G service. Router could only output 30mbps on 5G and 65mbps on 2.4. Tried changing to lower channels, rebooting etc to no avail. Called netgear, they told me I should only expect to see 150 to 300mbps maximum anyway. They told me to change the channel to the channel I already had selected, then unplug it for 1 minute and try it. Same result. I bagged it and returned it and bought an Arris Surfboard for arpund the same price and couldn't be more pleased. It actually gets 1G unlike this Netgear garbage. If you can only expect 150 to 300mbps on it then dont advertise 1.3G. Also if it can only do 30mbps then maybe say that. The decade old Arris I had could run circles around this thing.

My old ARRIS surfboard seemed to hit end of life with Xfinity and they wouldn't troubleshoot anything further because of the age of my former modem/router. In a pinch, I bought this because it seemed to have decent enough reviews compared to other Comcast/Xfinity supported modem/router options. It's only been a week, so we'll see what happens.

Label on unit was not the correct password. Contacted Netgear and was finally told to return where purchased which was through Walmart. I returned it the next day for full refund.

We've always used a separate router and modern but this has both which saves lots of room and half the cords. We had questions when setting it up and the phone customer service was incredibly helpful and patient. This it definitely a great purchase.

Good, solid product. I bought my first 10 years ago and it just gave out I was surprised to see it was still available so I bought another and working well. Even easier to set up now with the app. Very straight forward and sold, debepdable and reliable. Great product!

This is a great router that I use for my investment property which is on the 4th floor and the pool is right underneath. This router allows for the WiFi to be picked up around the pool which I was not expecting.

I am very pleased. Easy start up process. Easy as in I was walked through the start up process through the Xfinity app. The nighthawk had to reboot first thing but other than that it was easy.
